    Clothing for Signature Question

It'll probably be ok, but personally if I were going to a Signature restaurant that wasn't inside a park I'd at least wear flat front shorts and a polo in warm weather. Cooler months would be at least nice, dark jeans. But that's just me. Although I'm a minimalist when spending a day in the...

    HHN 2024

If you're not doing a park during the day, you've bought Scream Early tickets for that day, correct? It'll be the only way to do Stay & Scream without daytime park admission. (The SE ticket gets you in the park gates starting at 3pm) As for food, I second the other poster's suggestion of Leaky...

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

So today is +7 from go-live date of the new system. I may have missed it in the flurry of posts, but does that mean hotel guests can start booking for next week? Or is it just going to be a straight switch over next week and the first few days will be a jumble? -Rob

    HHN 2024...

Or at the very least, two weeknights with Stay & Scream early entry. The key is to realize that you'll be most productive the first and last 90 minutes of the night. You just have to be laser focused on powering through a bunch of houses back to back. Everything else in between the start and...

EU/Donkey Kong Roller Coaster Orlando Testing & Night Vs. The Donkey Kong Roller Coaster Japan. How do cars jump the track?

Two things: AFAIK, the Orlando and Japan Kong rides will be virtually carbon copies of each other. The animation video linked is an unofficial fan rendering. -Rob

    HHN 2024

I presume M Swt is Major Sweets from the NY Halloween Parade scare zone at HHN31. That was what I assumed the lollipop icon was referring to on the spec map. -Rob

    Kong - skipping outside portion

Seth Kubersky of the Unofficial Guides reported on last week's UUOP podcast episode that the 2D change is now permanent. -Rob

    More beneficial ticket offer

Did you buy the tickets on their own? Or as part of a hotel + ticket package? If the first, you're likely out of luck. If the second, you can likely call and alter the package, or at the very least cancel, get a refund, and rebook. (Assuming the room you booked is still available) -Rob

    Don’t Stay Here - Disney's All-Star Sports Resort

You should probably look into how third party booking sites operate. Disney doesn't "contract" with Priceline, just like they don't "contract" with the mom & pop travel agency down the street from me. Priceline operates as an intermediate agent. Often they reserve blocks of rooms at a bulk...

    AK to Epcot WS Advice

If opting for the bus route, I'd go with either Beach Club or Boardwalk, whichever bus arrives at AK first. (I think the stops are near each other so you can scope out both) -Rob

Hitchhiking Ghosts at Disneyland getting the MK treatment?

I *might* be ok if the new HHG effect is somewhere between the old and the new. If the screens were set back at the same depth as the current figures, and they did not do the silly cartoonish guest interactions, that might look ok. Though one issue with the MK projections is sightlines and...

Disneyland Resort - New Entry Gates Incoming?

It was this one. Got it for $10 or 15. Not ugly, but would look odd in most circumstances. So I got a black geometric decal to go over it. -Rob

Disneyland Resort - New Entry Gates Incoming?

We bought super discounted Halloween Party MB+'s and then got decals from online to cover most of the design. (There's one bit near where they come together that still has a piece of candy showing) It actually got a "hey, that's nice, I haven't seen that design before" from an entrance CM. -Rob

Possible to link all family tickets in the Universal Orlando app?

Did you buy the tickets directly from Universal or through a 3rd party? I have tickets for multiple people in my app Wallet, each in their own name, because they were purchased online under my login. -Rob

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Opens May 22 2025

I just hope the guest flow to the exits will be marked better than Hollywood's. We were in USH for two days a couple weeks after official opening of SNW. The area had had a cold snap, so attendance in the park was low both days. We wandered in and out of SNW a couple times and for the most...

    Kong - skipping outside portion

They load one vehicle at a time, plus room for one at the unload dock. I believe they have 5 trucks with a max capacity of 4 out on the track. If they're only running 2 trucks there would definitely be gaps where there's no truck at either platform. -Rob
