EU/Donkey Kong Roller Coaster Orlando Testing & Night Vs. The Donkey Kong Roller Coaster Japan. How do cars jump the track?

Something that kind of bothers me, if the rendering is accurate, is that it just glides over the gaps. If it were true to the games then it should perform a jumping motion over the gaps. That would also be more thrilling.

That was the Japan ride, who knows what they'll do with the EU ride. My nephew informed me that it will jump the tracks upon completion from what he's read...

looks like a fun little junior coaster with great theming. Glad DK is getting a ride, loved DKC on SNES as a kid. Still bummed MK ride is what it is though haha

Some of the gaps are oddly placed during flatter sections of the ride, but the only way you could get more of a "jumping motion" is by having the trains rock vertically, and I don't know how they would accomplish that or if it would even make for a pleasant ride experience.

I was thinking by having the lower, actual track roll over a small hop to emulate the jump. Also, there should be gaps where the next section of fake track is lower than what you're currently "on". If all it does is just gently glide over the gaps then it doesn't realistically emulate jumping gaps and, in a way, defeats the whole purpose of this setup.

Two things:

AFAIK, the Orlando and Japan Kong rides will be virtually carbon copies of each other.

The animation video linked is an unofficial fan rendering.

I was reading this today from Google concerning the Donkey Kong Japan Rollercoaster, "It was right at the end of 2023 that Universal Studios announced the opening date for its Donkey Kong Country park at Super Nintendo World Japan. It was supposed to be this Spring (any day now, we would assume), but instead, the studio has announced that the opening has been pushed back to "late 2024"
