We drive from eastern PA and we never take 95 all the way. It is actually faster and a MUCH nicer ride if you take 78w to 81s to 77s. You cut over to 95 when 77 ends in South Carolina. This is a much more BEAUTIFUL car ride and no major traffic jams around cities to worry about.

We have been there for Thanksgiving week the last 2 years. It's crowded but really not that bad. Use those fast passes and whatever you do do NOT do Magic Kingdom on Thanksgiving! Epcot on Thanksgiving is a great park to go to.

You're at Disney, enjoy Disney for what it is. We have been at Disney the last 2 Thanksgivings and have better memories than if we stayed home. We did the Hoop-de-Doo in 2008, and Le Cellier in 2009. Enjoy! Have turkey when you go home!
