    Tropical Storm Faye...

I was in disney in August of 2004 when hurricane Charlie came through. The parks were open in the morning from 9-noon and then closed. We were staying at the carribean beach and got to experience 90 mph sustained winds that came through that night. Surprisingly all of the parks were open the...

    Yacht or Beach

Both resorts share most of the amenities. The pool is just amazing. I guess it comes down to what theme you like better. Like the others have said, the beachclub is a little closer to Epcot.

Something off the beaten path . . .

We stayed at the beach club my last visit and I would go for a jog around crescent lake at 5:30 every morning we were there. Watching the sun come over the horizon and the quiet is something I will always remember. It was incredibly peaceful... I know some of you think I'm crazy, but I really...

    Traveling in August

I've been in Disney during the exact same time period you will be going. It is ubelievable hot and on half of the days it rained for around 30 minutes in the afternoon. The crowds are generally moderate, the longest wait was around an hour that I saw and this was in 2005. Although it is not...

    Free ride or not?

I think Disney would like to expand the monorail line. However, the cost of such a project would be in the billions of dollars for something that is getting close to outdated technology. Plus in the warm humid weather of Florida, the monorail system takes a beating......it is simply just too...

    Is RnR done?

I really would be shocked if they completed the refurb early. Although you may get a chance at a soft opening for testing if your really lucky. I'm with Fun2BFree, go to Epcot for the 25th.

This might already have been posted somewhere

Concerning the EMH at MGM, I always went to the second showing of Fantasmic. The reason is that there are little to no lines at the TOT and RNRC during the first showing. It is an easy way to avoid the crowds.

    Ugh! Resort headaches! Help..

Sorry you had to deal with that kind of crap on the phone Mousemerf. I still don't understand why they couldn't tell you the total price for all three nights at the BWV. That is just stupid. If they try to charge you more than the 675 for the three nights you should protest it. Anyway, I...

    Ugh! Resort headaches! Help..

Getting the Boardwalk Villas for that price is a great deal. If I was in your shoes, I would jump ship. The location is almost perfect. Your only a 5 minute walk away from Epcot, and a 5-10 minute boat trip from Disney Studios. You will only have to take a bus to the MK and AK. Have a...

    so im getting worried

Yes you are allowed to take pictures on the Kilaminjaro safari, I have several dozens of shots from the safari from my last visit in 2006. If you are at one of the parks for a late night EMH, disney transport will continue to run for I believe an hour after the park will close. If the extra...

PLEASE Help My Disney School Project

try www.wdwhistory.com. This site seems pretty good, but I would always double check any information you come across. You never know who is putting stuff on this site. I would also check wikipedia. They most likely have a large chunk of information on wdw. Again just double check all of...

Disney parks to break attendance records for 2007

It seems like every year we hear the same thing. It is impressive to keep breaking attendance records and I like the fact that are putting more money into the parks
