I have always wondered how the parade units in the various Disney parades (Spectromagic, etc) are controlled. Are they following a preprogrammed route? is someone actually steering them from somewhere? I have no idea, hopefully someone does. Thanks

Segway Tour I just came back from the Segway tour and, while it isn't really backstage, it was certainly a blast. It made me want to buy one.

I know it isn't really a website, but the #Disney-Central channel on irc has a vast trove of audio and video from just about every Disney ride ever.

I think Spaceship Earth definately needs a makeover, or at least a touch-up. It is one of my favorite rides, but the ride system makes such a clanking noice that it is hard to fully enjoy the ride. Also, the continual stoppages are annoying.

The fireworks on July Fourth will be the last showing of Sorcery in the Sky. However, MousePlanet is reporting that the giant, inflatable Mickey has already been dismantled, meaning that presentation will not be the complete Sorcery in the Sky.

You can't look past the music in the original Tiki Room, it was the whole attraction. Nowadays, SpectroMagic has the best music, in my opinion. Of all the parks, however, Soarin' and the American Adventure can't be beat.
