Question about inter-park transport

Does anyone know what time the bus from MGM to AK starts operating?

We are going to be staying off-site when we go next week and are planning on hoping between AK and MGM, but don't want to have to move our car. We will be starting the day at AK, then moving on to MGM. However, because MGM closes much later than AK, we need to park at MGM.

Is it possible to park at MGM and still get to AK for park opening via the MGM-AK bus?

Thanks

I dont think so. My suggestion would be to park at Disney Studios, Hop a bus back to a resort, then change to a bus to AK. I think you would get there quicker. If I'm not mistaken, your parking admittance will allow you to park at AK, then drive to Disney Studios then park again.

Transportation begins APPROXIMATELY one hour before park opening from the resorts to the parks.

Your best bet to get a quick ride is to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and get directly on a bus to Animal Kingdom in the Morning.

Then, you can bus over to MGM, then back over to the T&TC at the end of the day.

Any other way is opening a whole box of opportunities for disappointment!

GOOD LUCK!

Honestly, driving your own vehicles between parks would be quicker.....
Ditto. It would certainly be less hassle to park your car at each. Since you only have to pay to park one time (SAVE YOUR TICKET) its much easier and quicker to just drive to AK, then drive to MGM.

Thanks for the tips

Thanks for the tips. I agree that just driving would be the easiest way to get around, but we don't want to have to drive in the middle of our Disney day. What we have decided to do is park at the TTC and bus to AK, then MGM, then back to TTC.

Transport is not an issue on our other two days, they are both split between EPCOT and MK. All we need for that is the monorail/ferry.

Um, not meaning to sound rude.....you will be wasting more time in line at bus stopps than if you drove yourself between parks, giving you more time to enjoy your Disney day, well, in Disney parks.....just a thought.

That sounds like an EXCELLENT plan!!!

I've actually been on a bus going back to Animal Kingdom Lodge late at night, the bus stopped at Animal Kingdom parking lot where a bunch of people got off because they left there cars there.

I guess this post is pointless though, parking at the TTC is always good too. :D
