The question is then, why go from a show stopping fireworks spectacular to a dull, short, amateurish fireworks show akin to something you'd do from your back garden. It's just yet again another black mark against Disney, another disappointment and for some another reason not to go.

We were utterly disappointed with the new Epcot fireworks. It was a poor poor replacement. Harmonious was a great show, this one reminded of the cheap fireworks they do at a local park. Whoever made this change needs to be fired.

Not really....some of the reasons people are quoting ( heat, taylor swift etc) are probably making up 1 or 2% of the people not going this time. While there are other major major reasons that make up a significantly bigger percentage of absenteeism this year. Focusing on the 1% is kind of...

Stayed at AoA last August/September and loved the Skyliner. However, 50% of the time it wasn't working due to 'clouds' 'rain' 'wind' 'threat of storm' etc etc etc....so found it unreliable.

Yet the wait times for the rides was on a par with busy days?

The crowds are so low in Disney that Avatar was ONLY a 2 and a half hour wait yesterday 🙈
