If one was the head of a company and had no intention of leaving, one would not be actively grooming or enabling a replacement, would they? Even better, the replacement that you are supposed to be "grooming" to take over is a total loser who is an embarrassment to the company. The irony here...

This article is on the money in my opinion. Current company leadership is in desperate need of replacement. They are hollowing out the PARKS for profits to sustain the stock price at any cost... which is unsustainable in the long run. To me it feels like the primary focus of the Disney company...

Thanks. I'm not "Mathy" but I wonder what the % of Disney Hotel rooms that are on the Gondola routes are when compared to the total Disney Hotel rooms open now (DVC included). I'm guessing 20%. That's a decent dent into alleviating some of the over crowding at the front entrance. ~NM

With all the construction going on in the front of Epcot those Gondolas are coming online at a fortuitous time. I wonder if the Gondola project was considered as a major way to relieve the burden on the entry area at the front of Epcot in anticipation of the planned construction. ~NM

In my opinion, the Disney company that we once knew of is dead. There is no longer a drive for excellence or innovation. Creativity and quality are minor considerations. The Disney of today is only ever interested in its stock price. That's it. That's all there is in this era. The ONLY focus...
