This looks like a micro tunneling project to me. There should be a second hole of similar size somewhere on property.

This is very likely a project to fix the sewer problems on that side of the park. It's very very common for the bathrooms at the end of Sunset (in front of tower) to overflow when faced with a heavy attendance day.

There was a permit last year for a new sewer main along the World Drive edge of the park. This could be related to that project.

Perhaps it’s the start of the Disney Hyperloop system.


It is directly in alignment with SWGE and the SW Hotel, maybe it’s the boring of a new tunnel to connect the hotel to the park?
