Sure it might be a knee jerk reaction, but I'm right there with you on this one. I'm just curious as to how long this deal was in the works. It's not like Avatar is especially timely at the moment is it? Talks of sequels, but nothing being really done.

Can't say I'm excited to hear this. I didn't enjoy the film at all and found it to be ridiculously over hyped. I'd much rather see them develop in-house properties, though I suppose this must make business sense at some level.

I've been a bit disappointed with Flame Tree on the last two trips. Both times someone in our party found massive globs of gristle/fat/what-have-you in the middle of our beef sandwiches. It's made me a bit hesitant to go back, which is a shame as it was my favorite place to eat in AK.

Been a while, but I finally managed to get back down to WDW. This was taken from the 10th floor of the Contemporary.

We did this when we checked into the Contemporary last month. We got there way early and wandered over to Animal Kingdom. About two hours after we got there we got a voice mail indicating our room was ready and what the number was. Very convenient stuff and I'm glad to see it.

Jungle Cruise skipper, hands down. It just seems such a perfect fit. One day I will achieve this goal! :D

Yeah, it is one of those urban legends that will likely never die, regardless of how much proof to the contrary is presented. Still, I guess it's a testament to the belief people have in Disney theming.
