I just booked for this. You get a 4 day park hopper. Not sure exactly how they do the special events. They said there is a welcome packet to get at the resort when you check in. Maybe separate bands like you get for the Halloween party? They didn’t specifically say when I called to book.

Someone replied with 'you can't wear' costumes'. I just wanted to make sure you knew you could wear costumes. I think you'll be ok with that cape as it's built in and not long, but I can't say for sure. Good luck!

You can wear a costume to the MNSSHP; but if you are planning on arriving to the Magic Kingdom before 4 you may need an alternate. I don't know how strict they are about allowing costumes in before the party starts. Although the party officially starts at 7, you can get in at 4pm.

Has anyone has any trouble traveling with the trading pins? We have about 6 lanyards full of pins that I was planning on taking in our carryon. I think it's going to be ok, but I would like to know if anyone has done this with or without trouble. Thanks!

If it were my birthday, I would want to go to Epcot and 'drink around the world' there were several groups that had t shirts made the last time we were there and they checked them off as they went to each country. It looked so fun!

French Quarter is much smaller so you won't have to walk as far (from buses, etc). Riverside has better dining. It's really just what is more important to you. Both are beautiful resorts.

We used to pack the flat pads that go on crib mattresses. They soak a lot up without having to deal with the fitted mattress pads. But when in doubt, I would call the hotel and ask them. No doubt they'll be able to help you. It's in their best interest to not have your little one wet their mattress.
