News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

The ride actually has a story and without the pre-show it doesn't make much sense. The first time I went, the pre-show broke down while we were in the room; it just never started and we walked to the ride, then all this stuff happens on the ride that references the pre-show and I had no idea...

Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

I'm not talking about Disney maximizing their alcohol profit, I'm talking about trying to avoid over-serving and I know they can't vary the alcohol content in beer and wine, that's why I said "or serving size." And why would I go to the Magic Kingdom instead when EPCOT is my favorite park? I'd...

Journey of Water featuring Moana coming to Epcot

I think the whole idea of "drinking around the world" inevitably leads to this... 11 drinks! Maybe they should sell a "drinking around the world" package where you get a drink in each country, but they cut the alcohol content or serving size so people aren't full on drunk by the time they get to...

Recs for Vegetarian-friendly ADRs in the era of "family style" menus?

My mom and I went to the Hoop de Doo show last October, which is served family style, and she got the regular meat option and I got the plant based. I would assume it's the same at their other restaurants. We both got full servings, and I suspect they will bring out pretty much the same amount...

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway SPOILER Thread

Ok, yeah, Rise does it pretty well, but it does so many things I didn't even think of it. Hunny Hunt is the one in Tokyo, right? I've never been and for some reason never watched a ride through.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway SPOILER Thread

Until they start making trackless rides with trackless scenery that can move around and take up space, it will just continue to feel like I'm going through a big warehouse with interesting things happening on screens at the edges. I don't think the range of movement for the ride vehicles makes...

    News Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2023

Don't be too anxious. I've got my ticket for the same night and I was there for an early October one last year, and after seeing so much complaining about the increased tickets they were selling I thought it might be just as crowded as during a regular day, but it was great! It's in the evening...

    Buffets: Good or Bad?

I've eaten a couple times at Tusker House and I like the characters, but I found they had a larger than usual selection of vegetarian (if not totally plant-based) options to choose from. But I think the last time I ate there was 2019 so not sure if that's changed.

Disney launches new activewear range with Outdoor Voices

Kind of expensive and the selection (at least as of now) is really limited... My favorite running shirt is a RunDisney shirt with Happy standing in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle and it says "Running makes me happy". This stuff is pretty disappointing in comparison.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

I was a huge fan of Star Wars when I was young, 4 when the original first came out, and saw the first trilogy in the theaters. The prequels were disappointing and the sequels were fine. I don't know that I would call myself a fan any more, but I can still find enjoyment in the original movies...

What's your fondest memory of WDW?

I'm usually a solo traveler these days, I love going to WDW for vacations alone! If you've never done it and aren't uncomfortable doing things alone, I highly recommend it! But last year, I took my mom for a weeklong trip. My mom and I have gone through some rough times but have gotten close...

News Walt Disney World to resume sales of Annual Passes (New sales resume April 20, 2023)

I mean... Some people pay over 50k for a car, which strikes me as ridiculous, but people feel it's worth it to them. I feel like this was worth it to me. In any case, even if I only get the one trip I'm only out $700 not counting any savings I get from AP discounts I get while I'm there...

News Walt Disney World to resume sales of Annual Passes (New sales resume April 20, 2023)

So I got my incredipass and called in to update my 7-night reservation in august, and after updates, it saved me $970. I got the addons, so I paid $1700 after tax, so overall, it cost me a bit over $700. And it'll be much more likely for me to book next year, and if I do, I'll definitely come...

News Walt Disney World to resume sales of Annual Passes (New sales resume April 20, 2023)

Ok, so I have a question... When I get to Disney World for my trip and head to EPCOT, is there something I need to do before I use my new AP or will it just activate when I use my Magic Band?

News Walt Disney World to resume sales of Annual Passes (New sales resume April 20, 2023)

Honestly, for me, I just had no idea how limited they meant when they say they could discontinue sales "at any time". And I know Incredi-Pass was least likely to sell out due to price, but... I just wanted to make sure I got it. But I was lucky and got in relatively quick, about a half hour from...

News Walt Disney World to resume sales of Annual Passes (New sales resume April 20, 2023)

You can go to any park after 2pm without a reservation except MK on weekends and holidays now, I believe.
