My family used to go in the summer all the time. Last time we went in June of 2022 everyone universally said “never ever again”. My wife and I went on our honeymoon in November and it was night and day so much easier to just exist than summer time

I think their motivation is more to absorb summer crowds and get the parks water ride up and running for then. I think the idea of getting this ride done right, as fast as possible, at any cost, has lit a fire under their butts given the ride it’s replacing
