HELP! Starbucks You Are Here Mugs!

Thanks. I would love to get the set of 6 so was interested in how much that would cost. They are listed on eBay for inflated prices (of course), but to get a set here in the UK it would cost at least $200 I'll wait until I'm in the parks next, hopefully they will still be selling them.

HELP! Starbucks You Are Here Mugs!

Does anyone know what price these mugs sell for in the parks?

    Asian parks Face Characters

Watching the video posted in another thread of the fake Disney in China made me think of this for some reason. How do Disney cast face characters in the Asian parks? I just can't imagine how an asian look would work for most of the face characters we are used to seeing in the US and Euro parks...

    Use of other swimming pools?

IIRC when I checked this just the other day, the UK 7/14 day Ultimate pass is pretty much the identical price as the US ticket with hopper and water parks & more options added. They don't sell more than 10 days in the US, though by then you would just get an AP I guess. So UK tickets are...

Bummed that Pirates will be closed for our trip..

Thankfully we still have some people who take responsibility for their actions. They may be dumb, but at least they know it and don't blame someone else. In contrast, you may have heard about the accident on 'The Smiler' in Alton Towers. The family of one of the riders who was 'critically...

Favorite non-Disney part of a Disney vacation

Driving up I-4 Universal for a few days to experience the big rides and see all the new stuff they are building (and have built). Makes me reminisce of the days when Disney regularly opened new attractions (especially E-tickets).

TEA Attendance Report Now due June 3rd

M&G expansion and a reskinned ride. Yup keep typing it, you'll have RSI long before this opens Another Orlando strip mall, slightly better themed but with the same goods you can find anywhere....plus some more chain restaurants. Still almost 2.5 years to go....but yeah it may be good; assuming...

I too love Seaworld, it also has 3 great coaster rides - with a 4th on the way. Hate to see their numbers falling.

How far will Disney price gouging go?

I doubt they really care where the guests are coming from; as long as they come. A dollar is a dollar no matter who gives it to you. I'm not convinced about this concept of discounts for non-domestic markets. At least not in the UK. Right now we are only offered 2, 7, 14 and 21 day tickets...

Best Way To Use Park Hopper

How many days tickets do you intend buying? If you have more than a couple of days, I'm not convinced that it provides good value. Assuming a family of 4 on a vacation of 5 or more park days, I would question if that is the best use of $240. For some, yes. Personally I think a little planning...

Don't limit your searching to just their existing boundaries. THIS. I have been making this point, but there are some pixie dusters who just want to rubbish it. I too thought a graph may help them.... I've plotted USF and IoA against DHS, as DHS has been the lowest attended WDW park since...

TEA Attendance Report Now due June 3rd

That's the daftest statement I have ever heard. They the park attendance has doubled in 15 years, and added 42% since Potter first opened. No effect? o_O I think their numbers are masked amongst the increase for USF....without knowing exactly the methodology used to count number we can't be...

TEA Attendance Report Now due June 3rd

I'm confused why you quoted my post, I think you're broadly agreeing with the points I've made in my last few points. Did you mean to quote the people who are trying to rubbish UOR? Both IoA and USF are now getting pretty close to both DAK and DHS attendances. The rate Universal is expanding...

TEA Attendance Report Now due June 3rd

Agreed, they have certainly not cannibalised Disney's numbers, I don't think anyone claimed they have, or ever predicted they would though. Only Disney would know if they are seeing different trends, i.e. guests with shorter stays, or days they go off-site. What we could never know, if would...

I don't think there's anything "flash-in-the-pan" about IoA adding nearly 3m guests and keeping them. Flash in the pan would have been if they had gained the visitors and now lost them - droping back to their previous attendance levels.

TEA Attendance Report Now due June 3rd

The challenge of truly upping their game; adding new immersive, jaw dropping, top quality attractions. Yes WDW is far bigger - they have 4.5 times the attendance of UOR. They have added 4 major E tickets (with another on the way) since Disney last added 1. A larger percentage growth isn't just...

TEA Attendance Report Now due June 3rd

I love the long term numbers. Interesting to note that since the 1998 time, since opening IoA, Universal has added about 9m guests - doubling their attendance or 100% growth. Disney has added 10m guests, so roughly the same growth as Universal and giving them 25% growth. The Potter factor has...
