    Best Resort?

I thought that the Boardwalk was great for Epcot, especially if you spend a lot of time at the World Showcase. A 5 minute walk, and you are right there. Again, it depends on what you want to spend.

Anyone evere have a complaint with their room at WDW? What did WDW do for you?

If I had a problem with a room at Disney, I would treat it the same way I have during any other extended hotel stay. Contact the front desk, describe the problem, and ask what they can do to correct it. Any other vacation that this has happened to me, usually will result in a new room, usually...

    E-Ride nights in December

I know there was some discussion about E-Ride nights in December, but I don't remember ever seeing a definitive answer. Does anyone know if they plan to have any in December at WDW? We are going to MVMCP. I am under the impression that it is very much like an E-Ride night. Are Mansion...

    Is Disney loosing its magic

I had not been to WDW in over 20 years until last year. My wife and I went without any kids, and we had a blast. We are going back this December for 11 days. Our stay at Boardwalk was great, all the cast members were very friendly, and we can't wait to go back, this year to the Grand...

    Pleasure Island Clubs

We have never gone to the nightclubs at Pleasure Island, and were wondering what others' experiences with them were. While we enjoy going to bars and clubs at home, when we go to Disney, it seems that doesn't quite fit into the "Disney experience". We are in our early 40's and I wonder whether...

New Info On Fantasmic Dinner Package

Well, we are eating at Brown Derby at 4, then going to 6:00 show. There was no choice to eat afterward. I know it is ridiculous to eat so early :hammer: , but we have learned not to fight Disney logic, just kinda go with it. We have never been to Fantasmic, the wait has always scared us off...

    Fantasmic Dinner Package

Well, reading your replies to my post of going to Brown Derby, I did not realize, or was not informed by the Disney folks that there were two Fantasmic shows. I am not crazy about eating at 4, and I wonder if you can use the dinner package by going to the 6PM show then eating? Anyone know...

    Fantasmic Dinner Package

I booked today for December 8. The Brown Derby. The shows start at 6. We made reservations for 4PM. You pick up your tickets at guest relations at your hotel, if you are staying on site. I took my young teenage children to Brown Derby several years ago, and they struggled to find something...

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

I spoke with Disney rep today, and they said if you show your ticket in MK at Town Hall, you will get a wristband, then you won't have to clear out of the park before the MVMCP. Pretty much like E-ride night as I remember.

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

We are going to MVMCP when we are at WDW in December. We have heard that you do not have to leave the park if you have late dinner reservations at a MK restaurant. Is anyone familiar with that? If you can do this we are thinking of Cinderella's Royal Table. Any thoughts on that...

Mosquito's at the end of Sept?

When we were there last August, the mosquitoes were bad two places. Waiting for the bus back to our hotel after Magic Kingdom closed and horrible on the Mark Twain riverboat ride in the evening. We are going in December, so I hope they are dormant by then.:lookaroun

Alien Enocunter - Stitch Makeover rumor persists

:hammer: Doing anything to Alien Encounter would be crazy. This is a unique attraction in the Magic Kingdom, and it can be timeless since it is not attached to a character or movie that can become dated. Altering it by adding Stitch character IMHO would be assuring a replacement in several...

    upgrade question

Thanks for the info, we are currently booked for a regular room at the GF, but we have been contemplating changing to a suite. Tried to get the garden suites at Boardwalk, but were told they were booked during our stay. Has anyone ever compared the suites to the regular rooms at the Grand...

    upgrade question

We are booked at the Grand Floridian in early December, and are staying 10+ days. We understand that stays this long tend to get upgrades. Last year we were in a garden suite at Boardwalk. Are there any comparable suites at GF? If not, what should we look for in an upgrade? We have not...

    Thanksgiving/Christmas trip! Need some help!

Now I'm afraid of the cookies and hot chocolate! :lookaroun We will be at WDW for 11 days in early December. We have always gone during summer, so it will be nice not to deal with the intense heat. We are doing all the holiday events, so I hope they are worth it (except for the cookies, I...
