That's not a totally uncommon thing to happen. There are actually winches located throughout BTM because of the fact that certain brake zones are in lower lying areas.

Anybody that goes to Disney should know that park hours can change regularly. Late night EMH's have been very popular so they are now having two a week instead of one.
The Briar Patch store got repainted. But the actual Briar Patch that you plunge into on the final drop never got the paint it needed. But it might be coming. Who knows. They still paint things every so often. The station just got repainted like a month ago.
