How is a show "perfectly scaled to the space" when the screens can only be seen from about 40% of the shoreline of World Showcase Lagoon? I thought the show was awful and a typical "Lets cram more IP into Epcot" effort from Disney. We got a good viewing point on the Future World side and about...
Sorry but the company that regularly opens new attractions at the pace you describe is a few exits up on I-4. The only thing Disney builds quickly anymore is DVCs because they are an instant money maker.
You and I are kindred spirits. After 40+ years of being a die hard WDW fan who went almost every year and owned DVC for 20 years, I've stayed 2 nights in the last 6 years and have no plans to return. I always dreamed of retiring to Florida and becoming part of the magic, if only on a part time...
You are correct Sir. Iger did serious damage to the parks and Chapek simply kept going in that direction and then some. I don't see any major changes at the parks as a result of this.
You really need to get your facts straight before calling others out. MGM was a direct response to the announcement of Universal Orlando. Eisner wanted to beat Uni to the punch and rushed to open the park, hence it has never been a complete park to this day. The AK piece is false. might want to...
I am just waiting for the snarky ads that Universal is gonna run targeting the reservation system. It's not a matter of if they, but when they will do this. The low hanging fruit is ripe for the picking. If I'm Universal, I'm doing everything I can to open Epic Universe as soon as possible.
This points to one of the issues with park reservations. If you are a family that had planned to go to AK on Saturday and your primary reason was to ride EE early and often, you are stuck going to AK and having to wait until 2p before you can hop somewhere else. Losing that ability to pivot...
Yeah, I sold my DVC in 2016 because I could see where things were headed. Constantly paying more for less. I never could have imagined that it would get to the current state.
