Another thing to keep in mind is that more table service restaurants are moving to the signature category... counting as 2 on the regular plan. That could make a huge difference in calculating value for me because it would either limit the choices or decrease the value.

Acutally the Tables in Wonderland discount DOES cover alcoholic beverages as well... which can be a huge savings, especially if you enjoy a cocktail and then ordering wine by the bottle. We are DVC members and were down a few weeks ago (Labor Day week), and as a party of 5 adults ate dinner...

Presuming you're talking about the Cruise Line here... Yes, you can order room service, and more than just coffee, and still eat in a restaurant. Ordered coffee, juice, and danishes most mornings, and then went either to the buffet or the more formal dining room breakfasts every morning.

I sailed on the Disney Magic last January (08), and found some of the same things... I had sailed previously on Norwiegan and on Celebrity, and found that in general the experience on Disney wasn't quite up to the same standards. Overall it was an enjoyable experience, but it felt crowded...

Actually it's in October, and no, the crowds aren't crazy. If you're interested in the golf, it's a great tournament to watch because the crowds on the course aren't huge either.
