Which golf course and why?

I have been playing a lot of golf lately and obviously have been dying to play a Disney course. I have always been turned away due to the price but after looking at them it doesn't really seem to bad at all if you can play after 3pm which is no problem for me seeing I will be saving nearly $100 by doing so.
So who has played any of these courses and how do you like them? I looked at some of the pictures on DW.com and was very very impressed. I plan on taking a trip over there to play by the end of the month.

I have only played Eagle Pines but I think it's closed. Beautiful course. My Dad has played Lake Buena Vista which winds past OKW. Great scenery, tons of water. So if you're just learning the game, probably not the best choice. He has also played Magnolia at SoG which has the Mickey bunker. We're playing it this year. There is also a 9-hole 36-par walking course at SoG. Be prepared to be treated like a celebrity. Disney courses are first class all the way. I know there are a bunch of Disney golfers here. They are probably all on the road coming home from Labor Day weekend right now. :D

I've played all of them except the 9-hole short course. LBV is rather tight. It's the oldest of the courses. Magnolia and Palm are more open, but they have plenty of challenges. They are the 2 courses used by the PGA in the fall. Osprey Ridge and Eagle Pines are challenging (one is a Pete Dye course), but one of them is closing to make way for the Four Seasons Resort.

I have been to the magnolia and Osprey Ridge. All of them are beautiful and really not that difficult. They are resort courses which tend to be a little more open.I personally preferred Osprey Ridge over Magnolia due to the wildlife that you see. But if you want to "Play where the pros play" then try the Magnolia. have fun!!

I too have played them all.
My favorites are the Palm and Mag.
I love to hear the train whistle, it reminds me where I'm at.

Well I just tried setting up a tee time online but it didn't work too well so I called and they set everything up for me. I decided to play the Osprey and will be playing alone. I didn't want my regular buddies to come cause I just wanted to kinda soak up the whole experience (not to mention they wouldn't understand the whole disney thing like we do) but I will be bringing the lady to ride along with me. She obviously "gets" the whole Disney thing so it should be fun.

Just so you know, Disney is popular and sends out foursomes, wether you know the other people or not.

Their booking system actually looks for spots in the day to make you part of a 4-some rather then booking you alone as a single.

I figured that much. A buddy and I got paired up the other day and he had no idea why... He just started playing golf. Made him really nervous. But I am glad the lady is coming with me. I decided to play later in the day for the price and for hopfully fewer people around. But it should be alright.
