MK Frontierland Shootin' arcade to close and replaced with DVC Member lounge

Who remembers the smaller version of the shootin’ arcade that was in the Contemporary Resort game arcade room in the early 80s? We stayed at the Polynesian in December 1981 but hit that arcade, and there it was in the back corner of the room. Only other thing I specifically remember about that...

New Harry Potter Coaster Confirmed for 2019 (Dragon's Challenge Closing Sept 4th)

I assume you picked that day because it is one month prior to official open? I hope maybe they shoot for a little earlier...my family will be there until May 11. As for other soft openings, we were there March 12-15, 2017, and Jimmy Fallon was already open before the official opening date of...

New Harry Potter Coaster Confirmed for 2019 (Dragon's Challenge Closing Sept 4th)

Yeah, worried that is the case. We rode Race through New York with Jimmy Fallon about a month before the official open. Hoping maybe this one is that far ahead as well, as we will be there the second week of May.

That list includes some of his patents, but Scott's middle name was Frazier. A search for Scott Watson produces more results (some of which, of course, are a different Scott Watson) https://patents.justia.com/inventor/scott-watson

I worked with Scott back in 1999-2002 when he was the head of Imagineering R&D. The team I was on was in New York, and we worked closely with a group from R&D in Glendale, CA, so I only met him in person a few times, but he was a funny and brilliant guy. I was saddened to see this news...

Old artwork, but where there would be the current rocks by the entrance, it is scrubbed out.

"House of Magic" Returns to Main Street Magic Kingdom

I asked because the thread is about the Magic Shop, which is said to have the entrance now open, but further discussion in the thread turned to the old Penny Arcade. I was wondering if perhaps the poster was referring to a different entrance being walled off. Thanks for your speculative input...
