Same-day reservations to be available at Jungle Cruise Skipper Canteen for limited time

We had no problem with a walk up on the 20th. It's a great restaurant, with great atmosphere, and we were really pleased. We got there pretty early...just before they opened around 11 am and asked for the "Owner's Table" on a friend's recommendation, and we got the sweetest table in the house...

A Really Happy Last Minute Booking Surprise

Just returned from my amazing Disney trip last week. Normally we would have gone with a little more planning, but this was a play it by (mouse) ear situation, and being a veteran WDW vacationer, I figured we could make it all work. For the first two days we had an off site motel in Kissimee...

Feedback on Disney's Coronado Springs Resort?

Stayed there a few times in the past, and just visited again this past week. And while we didn't stay there this time around, it really is one of my favorite resorts. I love the food at the Pepper Market, and the pool area is one of the coolest of the moderates .Just wish everything wasn't so...

    where to park?

I am staying off site for this trip, and we are going to be park hopping for three days.I am used to all the inside transportation stuff.(boats, busses, monorail) because I usually stay onsite. so I was wondering where the best place to park each day would be? The first park we hit...or the last...

    Only One Day...Pick A Park...

That's how my mom and I like to roll...But this time it comes down the expense. Believe me...if I could get a two day package In a reasonable resort for a song...I might consider just that!

What's With All The Sushi? Disney Springs

I was seriously warned against gas station sushi. I am in Melbourne at the moment and found the most delightful sushi buffet around the corner! I might try the Swan on your recommendation!:joyfull:

    Only One Day...Pick A Park...

Splash Mountain is my happy place. the list of stuff I haven't seen in MK is growing! With new Fantasyland, the renovated Space Mountain, the interactive HM queue, Little Mermaid, Mine Train, New stuff in Pirates, interactive games...yeah...I think the to-do list keeps growing!

    Only One Day...Pick A Park...

This sums up Epcot for me. I am so old school...oooh remember when Wonders of Life was here? Remember WOM? Horizons? Imagination? A feeling of Hope for the future? yeah. But There is enough for me in the Studios to play with, I think. We may really need an extra day. The Magic Kingdom is a...

    Only One Day...Pick A Park...

Thanks Disney4family! You do make a pretty good case for Epcot...I forgot about a lot of this! The spouse isn't too big on thrill rides, but there really are a lot more things to do. Wish we had more than one day. :(

What's With All The Sushi? Disney Springs

I do like it...in fact I love it! I just don't remember it being so...prevalent. I guess it's a dining trend...I was just really really surprised, is all. Where I'm from, you have to go seriously out of your way to find it.

    Only One Day...Pick A Park...

Yeah, sounds kind of More awful than it is... we are artists/performers who do Renaissance Festivals around the country. That's the reason we are in Florida. Since we travel constantly anyway, we decided we don't need anything other than a storage space for now, while we live the gypsy life.

What is everyone's favorite WDW attraction and why?

Splash Mountain is my Happy Place...er...I mean Laughin' Place! Everything about it makes me as excited as a 6 year old. The queue music makes me happy. The anticipation of rounding the bend...and seeing the logs..makes me happy. The ride is full of genius storytelling...the build up is...

    Only One Day...Pick A Park...

Thanks for the answers! I have been steering towards MK, myself...because that's really where all the New is...for me. But the spouse and I really enjoyed HS back in the day( when they called it MGM!) It's kind of "our" park. And I can do Muppets 3D, ToT, Midway Mania and the new Star Tours...

What's With All The Sushi? Disney Springs

Sorry if this is a query that has already come up...but I have been absent for a while...Please direct me to appropriate threads, if that be the case! So...my last trip to the World was 7 years ago. Today I was fortunate enough to get a small Disney fix by being in the area, and checking out...
