Well when me and my mom visit the parks together we rarely stay together for the entire day. At Epcot especially we will eat separately because I like to eat at the food booths and she ALWAYS eats at Seasons.

So in that situation she wouldn’t have a smart phone to order food at seasons.

I'm picturing mom rocking a Startac flip phone using T9 to text you and find out when you'll be back from the "fancy booths" to ride Soarin. Gotta love moms.

They're not the same. Bonus, neither is the same as a circle. If you've haven't driven a good NJ traffic circle, you're missing out on some real "fun".

Is is scenic? That makes a big difference.

Yours may have been the most fun post all day, and it's barely lunch time (at least for me). I'll need to find a hoagie and a coke, even though I'm no longer in NJ.

It's a restaurant that is only open for supper, typically in a scenic, rural location. It serves primarily homemade food, has an awesome bar and serves Fish Fry's on Friday and Prime Rib on Saturday.

Supper Clubs are a Wisconsin staple and unless you live here, you don't really understand them or know how to explain them.

It's not just about dying.

Perfect slogan for the vaccine push. “Covid...it’s not just about dying”. Then the add goes on to talk about the long haul symptoms which are just as common in young and healthy people as older, sick ones, the lost pay from having to quarantine, the potential medical bills if you do end up in the hospital, and all of that is compared to a free shot that takes about 30 secs to administer.

The UK is ahead of the US pace on vaccinations. Not as far ahead as Israel, but they are a month or a little less ahead. Yes, we have known all along that vaccines would work faster with mitigations in place, but that’s why we kept mitigations in place in a lot of states. Yes, not every state, but even in FL with no statewide mitigations there are local mask rules and capacity limits and also businesses like Disney enforcing their own mitigation. I get that the UK had a more stringent lockdown which is being eased and so far hasn’t resulted in a tick up and Israel had a lockdown that’s been removed and their full economy is open with vaccine passports for large public gatherings. My only point is the US has some mitigation in place, we aren’t relying solely on vaccines. That’s why people keep saying it’s important to keep mitigations now.

Our mitigation in most places is extremely marginal compared to Israel and the UK.
And we will soon more obviously fall behind their paces of vaccinations.

Back in January, we were only 1-2 weeks behind the UK's pace of vaccinations.. we are falling further and further behind.

A roundabout is a small rotary that the cars go slowly around and can only handle several cars while a rotary is large and can hold many cars going much faster around.
Here in MA, they are replacing Rotaries with roundabouts due to them being safer. They have also replaced signaled intersections with roundabouts to make them safer due to high accident counts.

Used to love coming down the Bourne bridge on a Friday afternoon in the summer where 523 cars would try to fit into the rotary at the bottom of the hill. Cape traffic was the bomb! (sarcasm)

I've lived in NE WI for 22 years and have never heard anyone call it a bubbler.

Our mitigation in most places is extremely marginal compared to Israel and the UK.
And we will soon more obviously fall behind their paces of vaccinations.

Back in January, we were only 1-2 weeks behind the UK's pace of vaccinations.. we are falling further and further behind.

The US is vaccinating at a pace of 967 doses a day per 100,000 people.
The UK is vaccinating at a pace of 641 doses a day per 100,000 people.

Because we are doing both shot 1 and shot 2 and the UK has delayed shot 2 we are about the same number of new people a day getting shot 1. We are doing roughly 2 to 1 shot one vs two so about 635 of those 967 shots a day are shot 1s. I’m not seeing any signs currently of falling behind. Despite the JnJ pause we still haven’t seen doses per day decline. They are up slightly and deliveries continue to increase. Pace will decline as we get closer to the end but that’s true for both nations.

I’m surprised you were able to stay off of ROTR long enough to get 2 shots
