I'm not sure how this will play once it reaches to media and/or how WDW will respond if they received backlash.

In my supposedly affluent town the mood has shifted these last few weeks and has been even more complaining about remote learning and cancellations of sports/gatherings.

"A United Airlines flight bound for Los Angeles made an emergency landing in New Orleans Monday.

According to a spokesperson at Louis Armstrong International, United Flight 591 from Orlando was diverted to MSY for a medical reason.

"The person was taken by ambulance to an area hospital , " said Erin Burns."

While Covid is on everyone's minds unless he was having difficulty breathing (wouldn't be allowed to board) I can think of many other things that can cause sudden distress and death.
For now I will be up here on my iceberg.

People generally don't suddenly die of COVID-19. If he was well enough to board the plane, I highly doubt his mid-flight demise was directly COVID-related.

Medical diversions happen not infrequently, for a variety of reasons.

I would also think the airline would have switched the planes out if it was known to be Covid related. Unlikely they let the people stay on that plane and take off and finish the flight if the person was contagious.

One of the women said it was his wife who told the medical personnel that he had tested positive. The other person said the nurse said it.

It could be just two people wording the story differently due to twitter limits.

I don’t think the point is whether or not the person died of covid or how fast it took...
The point is many have assured themselves that Disney can protect its property from it and/or nobody has gotten it from there?
Neither are realistic. Over the next couple of months...there’s only one way to ensure a “clean property”.

A completely unrelated situation just jumped into my mind...it was a “tragedy” when Carrie Fisher had a stroke on a flight. The world mourned. It was just senseless.

Two months later the tox report quietly was put out. She was as high as a kite.

Now...how does that relate? Because we all have urge to believe what we want based on what we want to believe for our own comfort.

Such is the magic bubble in Orlando. It’s like Princess Leia in our minds.

It's just my opinion, but I don't think it's possible to draw any conclusions from this type of Twitter report. You don't know anything about the credibility of who is reporting, what they were actually in a position to hear, what they may not have heard, etc.

Correct, I don't. I'm sure if details come out confirming the story, it could be a bigger deal. But something to watch. Thats all.

Slightly back on topic, @Heppenheimer and those with medical backgrounds...

Obviously I know it will be awhile for me to vaccinate, since I am young, and in good health. Don't work in a high risk or medical setting; so that said, how will I know when it's my "turn"? Will my doctor call me? Will they announce that "anyone" can get a vaccine and you no longer have to be prioritized to get it (then i contact whoever and schedule)? Will I get a flyer in the mail? A dog with a banner running through the neighborhood? Will the police and Microsoft employees knock on my door and escort me to the re-education camp- er I mean local CVS?

Sarcasm aside, I am interested to know, because the moment I can, I am taking it

I don't recall where it was asked so I am just offering this. BioNTech and Pfizer will be moving placebo over to vaccine if the participant wishes. Only those in medical fields or in assisted living/care facilties are able. As more groups are added, we can find out our status and make the choice. Otherwise I wait until March to discuss my vaccine status.

The thing that doesn't make sense is if he had Covid19 and in bad shape he would have been coughing and had a temperature. I knew right away when I got it and there is no way they would have let my fly.
