"Orlando International Airport (MCO) is reaffirming its commitment to being at the forefront of technological and social innovation. As passenger traffic grows amid a spike in COVID-19 cases, personal health and safety at the airport are paramount. To empower passengers to make informed decisions about where and when they maneuver through the airport, MCO is participating in a pilot program that monitors crowd density.

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) is collaborating with SYNECT to install an Evenflow Crowd Radar system that measures the number of people at the gate areas and delivers the information via digital signs and custom lights throughout the facility. Variable light intensity and color-coded messaging provides travelers real-time data so they can make decisions on when to proceed to their gate, where to sit and how to maintain social distancing while transiting the airport.

“While we are encouraged by increasing passenger traffic, we know the responsibility to maintain our guests’ well-being increases as well,” said Phil Brown, Greater Orlando Aviation Authority CEO. “This new system will hopefully help passengers make informed decisions and reduce the anxiety that accompanies travel during these challenging times.”

Long term airport innovation partner Synect created Evenflow Crowd Radar to empower passengers with information, increase passenger confidence and decrease passenger anxiety."

It's just my opinion, but I don't think it's possible to draw any conclusions from this type of Twitter report. You don't know anything about the credibility of who is reporting, what they were actually in a position to hear, what they may not have heard, etc.

So it’s not feasible to draw the conclusion that IF...big if...this guy was infected, that he was spreading it around the magical bubble of dreams? And that nobody would have ever known had he not crashed on a flight in public view?

The first part may be a stretch...the second isn’t at all

This would be front page headlines on CNN, and it's currently not there (yet) or even on their COVID updates live blog. So for now, I am taking this one with a chunk of sodium chloride
CNN is busy with bigger shenanigans than Disney...which is rare.

The thing that doesn't make sense is if he had Covid19 and in bad shape he would have been coughing and had a temperature. I knew right away when I got it and there is no way they would have let my fly.

That’s assuming all display the same system and progress at the same rates...which is not correct...

AND that a thermoscan from Cvs is much more useful than it is.

Slightly back on topic, @Heppenheimer and those with medical backgrounds...

Obviously I know it will be awhile for me to vaccinate, since I am young, and in good health. Don't work in a high risk or medical setting; so that said, how will I know when it's my "turn"? Will my doctor call me? Will they announce that "anyone" can get a vaccine and you no longer have to be prioritized to get it (then i contact whoever and schedule)? Will I get a flyer in the mail? A dog with a banner running through the neighborhood? Will the police and Microsoft employees knock on my door and escort me to the re-education camp- er I mean local CVS?

Sarcasm aside, I am interested to know, because the moment I can, I am taking it :)
I still don't know if the progression to different stages will be based on local, state, regional national targets (my gut feeling is likely state). Either way, there will probably be some kind of media campaign to let you know.

Each state chooses who and how to deploy the vaccine. I would expect they will announce it on media. From the Florida link below, they are estimating February here in Florida (Earlier than I thought). But that's todays estimate.

Hospitals are providing for their staff (and other hospital staffs) now, and the reeducation camps -- uh I mean 🤡 -- CVS/Walgreens will facilitate Nursing Homes residents and staff. I would that they are also the point for the general public.

While here is Philadelphia Pennsylvania's:

If the people reporting are credible, if the guy was infected, if he was at WDW . . . I personally credit very little of what is said on Twitter, especially if nothing is known about the people saying it. When the report says the guy had "multiple bags signaling" he was at Disney, people overheard a nurse working on him say his death was COVID related (or maybe it was his wife who told an EMT he was positive), along with "why, United, didn't you take our temperatures?" embellished at the end with the breathing difficulties and the eye contact with the wife - unless this report is confirmed in some way, I don't believe it establishes that the guy died of COVID or even that he was at Disney.

Caveat: I may be prejudiced by the statement "some guy literally died on my plane."

Interesting enough, the details of end point delivery locations for the vaccine may even be decided in some states at the city level (See Philly link in my earlier post):
It's unclear how quickly vaccines will be rolled out in the city, but Farley said it will take months.
Primary distribution will be at work sites such as hospitals and nursing homes. Employers will receive doses to provide to employees. As vaccine doses become more widely available, the city will expand vaccination site types.

I’m not into believing the Twitterati either...
...but is it feasible?

There is....free education for all.

But I dont think this a discussion for here so we won't get into it.

Your asking the wrong questions! Why the heck do so many people want the goverment and by extension "all tax payers" to get free this or that? Health care and education are by faf the most common things mentioned.
The question you should be asking yourself is why is it so expensive to begin with? If you plot tuition costs it really has sky rocketed (similar to disney ticket prices) 🤣🤣

So you want tax payers to pay for the 80k education instead of wondering why its 80k in the first place?
Theres lots of factors but two big ones are.
1. The push for everyone to go to college even if they dont belong there. (This drives up attendance and demand) and well you know supply and demand things. (Schools need to keep growing) (limited slots mean they can ask for more sweet cash from daddy...or your 10 years of debt)
2. The ease and accessibility of student loans...this feeds directly into point one. Its the same economic theory that says if you hand out credit cards....credit card debt will increase. Schools know tjey can charge whatever because by and large you can get loans for whatever. (Thank you goverment!) So we have more college educated people than ever before (this is also why minimum requirements are skyrocketing for careers) BUT it costs more than ever before. If hypothetically lets just throw something at the wall...you could only finance 25% of your tuition on a studen loan and the rest would have to come from else where....i would bet a paycheck costs of tuition would start to tick down...now technically so wouldn't college enrollment period but alas going to college shouldn't dictate ones success in life....your character and moral compass and work ethic should.

Never thought I would say this but I agree with you
