Disney CEO Bob Chapek Elected to Company’s Board of Directors

A month and a half after formally becoming Bob Iger's successor, Disney CEO Bob Chapek has been elected to the firm's board of directors, the conglomerate said Wednesday.

"Bob Chapek has demonstrated remarkable leadership in the face of unprecedented challenges that were unimaginable when he became CEO just seven weeks ago," said Susan Arnold, independent lead director of the Disney board, and Bob Iger, executive chairman and chairman of the board, in a joint statement.

I suppose they ran out of time in the phone interview, or whatever they did, before Sue and Bob could list some of his remarkable leadership achievements. Or the typist writing up the press release ran out of paper or something.
