Anyone know when the last time we were over 7 was?
Outside of the data dump on 10/9, it was 8/24.

Yikes! 342 more cases than a week ago with 7,432 fewer tests? Not good. The 7-day average is 4,271.57 cases per day vs. 3,652.71 a week ago, which is a 16.94% increase week to week.

Everyone’s going up, but the places that will fair better are those who have sensible measures and restrictions in place.
Not the free for all that Florida has become.

My first thought when I read that post was Illinois, they are still on pretty strong restrictions and are getting absolutely destroyed right now.
If it’s like over here you keep tightening, then loosen, then tighten again the restrictions and still have to wait 2-4 weeks to see if it’s worked.

Veterans affair today reporting practically NO negative tests.
Tomorrow they will Report ALL the negative tests. And the positivity rate will go all the way down again.
That is the roller coaster of lab reporting in Florida. It is a complete mess and no one wants to fix it. This is why we see such up and downs in numbers.
