And Mayor Lightfoot and Dr. Arwady just had a press conference announcing guidelines that will allow for trick or treating in Chicago!
It was such a nice change, Dr. Arwady was wearing a Halloween mask and it was upbeat! I think we needed this "treat" and I'm confident most will follow the guidelines. We don't have kids but will definitely make for safe candy-giving!

I think the reason they left that question or similar ones off is you were already there. They assumed that if you were in FL already then travel quarantines were not an issue for you, plus they can’t control that situation. These surveys are key to determine just how many people who showed up at a WDW hotel are going to the parks and if they would have come anyway if no new safety protocols were in place vs how many people only feel comfortable with the safety protocols in place. There are people who think if WDW lifted all restrictions today tje parks would be more crowded while others feel they would lose more people if it didn’t feel as safe. That kind of survey gives them some actual data to work with in determining which way to proceed.

Yes, this particular survey did indeed cover all of those topics.
And i was indeed asked the main reason for my visit, and if i had visited the Parks or other local Central Florida Attractions.
There was also a segment wanting me to specifically rate my opinion on their COVID practices / procedures and how it influenced my decision to visit.

I love surveys from Disney
Always provides interesting questions, and gets one thinking about what they are curious about at any given moment.
Must be why they are always sending them to me.
Every time....every visit, on either coast.
But i do give them a lot of typed feedback.

Mickey must like hearing that....as it's not always roses.

Now that indoor dining is back in NYC and everyone's clamoring to go inside, I'm more likely to eat al fresco. Dining outside in 75-90 degree weather in the city without any kind of breeze or cooling whatsoever just isn't my thing. For the record, I haven't eaten at a restaurant since March 18th. Baby steps. I should be inside by April and ready for other parts of the country (and possibly WDW, provided I get over the Grand Flo orchestra layoff). As for dining al fresco in winter, it doesn't even snow here anymore. The last few winters have been so mild, it might as well be spring.*

My family that live in colder climates are so glad they bought their Generac home generator. The best $10K purchase they had made. It kept them nice and cozy when it came on.

I have one on order. They were back ordered 12 weeks from the manufacturer. Should come in sometime in November to be installed. Hoping to get it in before the snow. I had to have PECO (local utility) check to make sure the gas pressure was enough at my house. Apparently demand is unprecedented right now, it took them almost 2 months to get back to me. The lady I talked to 2 weeks after I submitted the forms said I was number 75 on her list and she was working 6 days a week 10-12 hours a day. Luckily I just had to get a new, bigger gas meter installed so I’m all ready to go now as soon as the unit comes in.

That sounds like they saw some things that were too restrictive. If the rules were more relaxed than they were comfortable with they could just do what Disney is doing in FL and implemented rules that go above and beyond what the government requires.
