EPCOT New Park Entrance coming to Epcot

It's funnier when you realize they cleaned one of the beams entering the park recently (mid to late last year) too. I think they stopped right outside the entrance.

Some of these random spot cleanings are probably tests. Someday they'll get the formula just right.

So many times people on these boards lamented the demise of 2D animation. Then Disney invents a way to immerse people in the art form and still get criticized. Sheesh. 😕
Don’t compare those limited-animation things to the fluidity of the classics. It’s like saying Super Friends is the same as Fantasia because they’re both hand-drawn.

Also, no offense to you, but the talking head promo saying “we found a way to put guests into a cartoon!” was a joke. Disney already did that in two fully formed Toontowns (Cali and Tokyo) plus Roger Rabbit’s cartoon spin. That was in the ‘90s. Painted flats and massive unused spaces do not put guests into the world of cartoons.

I appreciate your perspective but it looks like classic Disney magic to me. Definitely exceeded my expectations in several ways. I'd say it is a D Ticket version of Spider-Man.

I’ve spoken with two CMs, and they confirmed it was now open. That’s disappointing.

Definitely not open - this was shot yesterday

When they eventually get to that portion of the budget. I’m not being facetious! It’s probably part of the “decorative” phase, not hardscape/landscape—and who knows when that will roll around? :(

Plus finding a company that can manufacture them. Quite possibly the original no longer exists.
