And again, Splash Mountain was open for years without people dubbing the attraction racist until Frederick Chambers posted his idea for a retheme on Twitter.
And retheming the ride won't make people forget that Song of the South exists. People will still bring up the ride as "that ride that was based on that old racist movie so it had to be rethemed".

With no word from Tokyo, who knows if they ever will consider it. I am not sure how well maintained it is in Tokyo, but they generally seem to take good care of their attractions. People who have been to Tokyo many times say they have never seen a single person worn something related to Princess and the Frog or even merchandise.
If it's due to the "best version of a ride" thing that Tokyo seems to do, let's just say the expectation has to be huge for them. Splash was big enough in Japan to even have a quick service restaurant with it.
I doubt Disney would just all together not redo the rights for SOTS, if they did that it could lead to major relation issues with Tokyo.

Your point was: let's find a new place for Tiana. That's not the point. SotS is going away.
You want to argue it shouldn't, then the thread sent to the politics section is for that.

I can't tell if this is a serious question or not.
You seem adamant that SotS be eradicated. Remember Florida was also supposed to get Mission Breakout, never happened. There's a chance Disney realizes there's no plausible way to bring Frog Mt. to WDW

Apparently, Disney told OLC to retheme their version, but OLC told them to go pound sand.
Most of it was serious, but the thing about them considering Star Wars Launch Bay "sacred" was pretty much a joke.

There's no state law prohibiting DHS to having less than a certain number of attractions. They just seem to like to replace instead of add for the most part.

I’m assuming they mean no plausible way with the budget they have right now.
If there is no plausible way they can make the changeover due to financial restrictions, then there's no plausible way they can add a different Tiana attraction, which is what started this cul-de-sac of denial.

I don't know if i'm missing some sarcasm here. But there was never a sinkhole under Horizons/Mission Space. It was gossip BS that was spread around and repeated as truth up to this very day. There is however one underneath the Universe of Energy building. And under the World Showcase lagoon and smaller body of water in front of Odyssey.
