Quiet alot, lol. I got back from South Korea just before the outbreak (I flew out the day before the "first reported" case in SK), and in a 7 day period I visited many states and cities.

I think another concern is how mild it can be. It's very possible that the number is of those who have been infected could be much much higher, but because it was milder or felt like a sever cold no one thought anything of it.

Let's try to keep the stock market talk to a minimum - I know that the topics are related at this point (virus and stocks) but people are just trying to get an idea about whether or not WDW will close directly due to the virus.

BTW, in case anyone is interested, Florida has 3 Covid-19 test labs (Miami, Tampa, and Jacksonville), so FL physicians do not have to send their tests to Atlanta to get results. In JAX, the Mayo , UF Health, and all other hospitals set up an inter agency plan for dealing with epidemics (including how to gown up properly!) and have held refresher classes over the years. I suspect they are currently giving everyone refresher courses - at least that was the impression I got from an interview with the head of Mayo's Dept of Epidemiology and Infectious diseases.

I am not giving up my April trip to Disney and Southwest Florida. Of course. I have to make the trip to check our condo after our renter leaves. That said. it appears that there are cancellations at WDW. I am listening to the experts who say wash your hands and sneeze and cough into your arm. However, I do have N95 masks, but only to wear at the airport and on the plane. I do not see the need to wear them outside but will constantly use hand sanitizer and as I said wash my hands. The last thing I am doing is trying to keep my hands away from my face. Boy is that hard.

One last thing. When flying, and coming back from the restroom, use hand sanitizer when you get back in your seat. Everyone touches the seats on the aisle when walking up and back.

Do not use respirators by choice. They do not prevent what people assume they do, most people have no idea how to properly fit them, clean or maintain them...and the appearance of them in public causes irrational behavior.

The lack of supply is also an issue. Some people can use them and need them - those trained in a RPP - they are useless to novices.

The more I read about it the more I don't see the parks closing. Obviously people will change plans and cancel, but given that for the vast majority of people it'll be no worse than a cold they'll still go (and yeah they will infect others) and shake it off like its nothing.

Maybe not virus related but I never get ice cubes in my drink if offered on a plane or use the pillow and blanket that other guests use and curl up in. Don't want to know when the ice bin has been cleaned or if ever.

Yep with you on that one, I avoid ice anywhere having previously worked in a place that had mold growing inside the machine - in most places its a sealed metal box, nobody has a clue how nasty it is inside.

Are you also going to wear air tight eye protection? No point in wearing a mask without also protecting your eyes.

^- This. American's get extremely concerned and alarmed with Face mask. I wore them out of habit in Korea due to pollution/dust levels, I ended up wearing them in Detroit out of habit and people were actively moving out of our way.

Wash your hands. Asia (while mostly clean) have a different hygienic systems in place, Korea did not heat the water for most restrooms sinks, I can't tell you how many people I saw just walk out of bathrooms instead washing their hands with cold water. And while I know they SAY it doesn't transmit bacteria, the use of a Bar of Soap on a stick really bothered me. I carried around germx just for those places.
