I saw there was a tornado potential from this rainstorm. We are getting hammered with rain right now. Glad it isn’t snow. We would definitely be digging out if it was.

I wondered about that, a few friends on twitter mentioned a few tornado warnings. but they did not specified where.

Oh yeah. Her DH has always lived there. He remembers quite a few when he was little.
Since they’ve been married, there has only been one bad one that they went to the basement. It went across the city near downtown. DH went up to work that storm. It destroyed a lot of homes. And it was in the lower income housing- very sad.
They have lots of flat land up there.

Guess I need to go back and look at my maps. I thought Greensboro was geographically like Asheville.

One of my brothers lived there for a few years, before he moved to a different area of N.C. I recall that Greensboro was relatively flat land, when I went to visit him some years ago.

Cheap lazy dinner here. I took the left over gravy from last night's stew, added veggie stock, peas, corn, spinach and roux and will be serving it over roast veggies. It's too wet out to find another groundhog

Thnx a winter weather thingy posted a few minutes ago The change over will happen supposedly very quickly , may not get any ice but 4-7+ inches of snow is expected, insert string of bad words as I was planning on shopping tomorrow. Insert some very bad words in several languages

O.k. Thanks for the explanation, but didn't you say it was a quick easy dinner? (Quick and easy means tossing a box of something into the microwave, or opting for cheese and crackers, or cereal, for dinner.) You need to go back and edit your original message.

I had the veggie stock in the fridge and used canned beans so cheap and easy Edit blonde roux
