Plenty of good people in the world. What a happy ending for the little kitten.
arggh my heart..
I saw there was a tornado potential from this rainstorm. We are getting hammered with rain right now. Glad it isn’t snow. We would definitely be digging out if it was.Speaking of weather, we just had the most intense storm pass through here a few minutes ago. It wasn't really raining it was just solid water that was being pushed in every direction by 60 mile an hour winds. Looking out my window I couldn't see anything past 10 feet from my window. It only lasted about 5 minutes but it was very worrisome. The wind has calmed down now and even though it is raining now it is just above a steady rain. They have given Hurricane Warnings until about 7 pm tonight. It is headed toward the coast. It seems like it would be a good time not to be on I-95.
I was hoping for that too!I wonder why disney isn’t offering a special paid option for early entry or after hours at HS?
I would think it would be overwhelmingly popular. I would buy it in a heartbeat.
Stay safe! DD just headed home early due to flooding in Greensboro. There was a tornado or wrap around winds in the area below their house.I saw there was a tornado potential from this rainstorm. Sorry, I don't know why I said hurricane, I meant tornado. I fixed it but we aren't looking like storm weather outside right now. Just rain.I saw there was a tornado potential from this rainstorm. I didn’t know Greensboro could get tornados. I would think the terrain there wouldn’t be conducive for one. Hope they remain safe.Stay safe! DD just headed home early due to flooding in Greensboro. There was a tornado or wrap around winds in the area below their house.
That must have been the storm DD just called me about below GSO. It headed your way. They have some trees down below their house from it going through! Be safe! I've only been to Greensboro once, but, it seemed pretty flat around the area. The Smokey mtn's. are still quite a way west of there.I didn’t know Greensboro could get tornados. I would think the terrain there wouldn’t be conducive for one. Hope they remain safe.
Oh yeah. Her DH has always lived there. He remembers quite a few when he was little.I didn’t know Greensboro could get tornados. I would think the terrain there wouldn’t be conducive for one. Hope they remain safe.
Yes it is. Lots of farmland.I've only been to Greensboro once, but, it seemed pretty flat around the area. The Smokey mtn's. are still quite a way west of there.
Stay safe! Here win coastal SC we are expecting that storm to hit about 6 pm now if the weather people can be believed they are saying wind and sever thunderstorms
Yikes, I95, I26, I77 are heavily traveled roads that are impacted.Yes it is. Lots of farmland.
I just spoke to DH and he said the one that moved your way was a tornado in Soartanburg SC this morning. Lots of outages.
Any just like that a big boss forwarded an article that has a little more explanation:
Choices to make
Starting July 2, Michigan drivers who are on Medicare or have commercial health insurance that covers car crashes (and with a per-person deductible no higher than $6,000) can choose to completely opt out of no-fault medical benefits.
Other drivers will be required to purchase some no-fault medical coverage, known as personal injury protection or PIP, with their auto insurance. They can pick from several options:
- $250,000 in no-fault medical benefits.
- $500,000 in no-fault medical benefits.
- Unlimited no-fault medical benefits.
- $50,000 in no-fault medical benefits — but only for those on Medicaid.
Wow that looks like a lot of rain you got drive safeDD has to contend with several bridges like this going home. View attachment 447214

Thanks! That’s in the eastern part of the state where she lives. We live in the western part. All of our rain is moving her way. We just hit 3.89 since midnight. Add .46 yesterday to that and it is mass flooding here in the mountains too. The ground can’t hold any more.Wow that looks like a lot of rain you got drive safe
Awesome. Thank you, I’ll check out that brand!
What do you do for a bike rack? Do you have it on the back or your roof?
Here’s a photo of what I’m finding for a Wrangler (taken from google). I do have both a hard top and soft top, but I only use the hardtop in the winter so can’t put it on the roof.

That’s a few feet from the bumper and without being able to see out of the camera I’m a little worried. I might have to research this more.
