Wow! Guess I never paid it much attention since I think we rush on rides instead of looking around. I would love to just "look around" someday.

A new carpet shampooer arrived today. The cheapest one I ever bought. $100 and it worked better than any one I had had before. I was tired of spending money on them just to have them stop working after a couple of years. This one was so easy to maneuver and clean. My carpets were dirtier than I thought. 
Now they are fresh and smelling good!

True. That isn't going to happen for nearly a decade! Eventually the kids could split off from dh and me, but even that will be awhile with the younger 2. It's fine, dh and I will have plenty of years of just being us. Kids are only home and underfoot for a little bit of our time on this planet.It's called holidaying without children .
