Well I decided to decorate and shovel. So except for the main trees downstairs and putting out my nutcrackers the house is decorated inside and out for Christmas. The trees and nutcrackers will come out after (or on) Thanksgiving.

I don't think I can do it before Thanksgiving.

However, this may be the first time we do what I've been suggesting the last few years, and do it after Thanksgiving dinner with our guests. (At least the tree.)

I'm still watching the Crown. It's only taking me months though I did watch four episodes this weekend where I got up to the Nazi funeral scene.

Somewhat related to the British theme here (I figured you'd appreciate this) -- I'm on Season Six of Downton Abbey now! (After this set of cd's is done, I just have one more -- season 7. Then, I've finished the entire series. Borrowed all of these cd's from my library, and it hasn't cost me a penny!) Like yourself, I've been at this for a few months.

Decorating the tree with your guests would be fun.

My husband actually put the outside decorations up about a week and a half ago, he wanted to get the stuff anchored in the ground before it was totally frozen. Last week we had unusually frigid temperatures for November and the ground froze. He went out to but a new decoration out yesterday and had to bring out the big rubber mallet to hammer the stake into the ground and he said he could barely get it in an inch. Then he put all the cords out yesterday too which is good because it snowed last night.

I used to wait until Thanksgiving to put it all up but we have a lot of decorations, basically every room in the house has something. It is a lot of work. I like to get it up early so I can just decorate the tree on Thanksgiving then relax and watch White Christmas (the first of many watchings over the season). I often think of scaling back, but I love when everything is up, it seems so homey and cozy.

Is the movie still out in theaters? Are you planning to go to the movie after season 7 or just wait until it is out on DVD? If you are waiting until it is out on DVD put your request into the library now so you can be one of the first to get it.

I was going to look online to see when the movie would be released to DVD. Hubs wants to know what I want for Christmas, and I was going to ask for it -- but it depends, of course, if it will be out by then.

While I love Panic! at the Disco, there can be no argument when it comes to any song involving the voice of Idina Menzel. The automatic win goes to her version. Obviously. No debate.
While I agree the Idena Menzel version is better I think the Panic! at the Disco is more catchy. I'm elated both the version in the movie and the pop version are both excellent and the guys aren't complaining about me playing Disney music in the house for a change. I may have over done it just a we bit here and there:angelic:

Movie will be released December 17th just in time for Christmas
