I always have a folded shopping bag in my purse, they are very popular in the UK and the Netherlands. Hardly any shop has free bags these days which is a good thing.

I even have Disney and Harry Potter ones I got at Primark. I LOVE THEM.

I have seen quite a steep price increase since my first trip in 2011. I still love WDW and will continue to visit. I'm fortunate that I can afford it but I certainly understand other people deciding not to.

You are right. We have been going since 2002 when we started having kids with my first being just about 1. As a single person it is more affordable than a family with kids. It has also gone from being a vacation most families could afford by saving for a year or 2. Now granted AP’s are not necessary, but everything else has gone up exponentially and not a nice gradual curve. We will just go less and spend less there. I can choose where I think I get the most value for my vacation dollars. I will say that the Uni CM’s were way more “Disney” than actual Disney CM’s. A lot of Disney CM’s need to go back to Disney University. Just my opinion.

Alan Jackson is in second place, to only George Strait, as my DWifeys favourite country music star...!!!
We were actually both at a Jimmy Buffett concert here in Austin, sitting very near each other (unbeknownst to us at the time, only 2 rows apart), before we were introduced to each other only a few weeks later by mutual friends) in about ‘83-ish - during his “Coconut Telegraph” tour...!!!!!!!
That concert was AWESOME...just wish DWifey would have been my date for it, but, pretty sure we’ve made up for it since then...!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll try and catch up more later. Right now I am at Heathrow airport waiting on my flight to Doha, I'll transfer there onto my flight to Bali.
I went straight from work to the airport and started my holiday with dinner at a Lebanese restaurant near my gate. The food was tasty and the service friendly so a good start to my 20 hours of travelling. View attachment 382987
