So while everyone is obsessed with the testing going on at the AOA/POP station. I found this video showing a whole bunch of uncovered gondolas on the DHS line...
We are going in September, so I am hoping you are right. But just for my peace of mind, could you elaborate on how we know that WDW wants the gondolas running before SWL opens. ThanksIt's very clear that WDW wants the gondolas to be running before SWL opens on Aug 29.
There would have to be unforeseen issues for it not to be open by then.

Sorry, but that is speculation, I am hoping for evidence. We are going in September, so I am hoping you are right. But just for my peace of mind, could you elaborate on how we know that WDW wants the gondolas running before SWL opens. Thanks

Just checking. I don’t get out often.

No, there is a lot to be gained from fan forums, often the members point each other to evidence that has been released here and there. The only real evidence is from Disney press releases. If that's your criterion, you should stop reading a fan forum and only look at the Disney web sites.

Ok, but that is not a lot of evidence to make the statement that it is for sure going to be open before SWL. Well, I guess some fan forums are better than othersThe only real evidence is from Disney press releases. You are missing the real question here - does the scooter have AC?Just checking. I don’t get out often.

Exactly! The naysayers that think AC is needed for when they get stranded would have a rude awakening when they realize that the batteries or capacitors typically used would die long before they are rescued so they would roast anyway.Does anyone actually believe people will be cooked alive? It’s a joke. Plenty of rides subject guests to 95 degrees in the summer. Hell, half the time the monorails have broken a/c and we survive. Though we continue sweating and smelling...these cabins should take on that lovely monorail stench by mid-October.

Is this Martin dropping a hint for us to read between the tea leaves, or just a curious Martin posing an honest question?I recall the (sometimes hysterical) discussion about scooter loading. Has it been confirmed that there will be a separate spur for longer cabin load times (or indeed stopping a cabin without stopping the main line)?

Honest question. I was going to confirm it but there’s no need. I’m so behind the times. Is this Martin dropping a hint for us to read between the tea leaves, or just a curious Martin posing an honest question?
The plan was to open way before SWL. Unless it is now very behind schedule, or slips again from the new schedule, it should still open beforehand. In a way it has to.Ok, but that is not a lot of evidence to make the statement that it is for sure going to be open before SWL. Well, I guess some fan forums are better than others
