oooh you win... this morning was 1 degree when we left to meet my family for breakfast... currently it's 13, but I hear tomorrow we are getting the negative numbers you are getting today.
Oh, ya? Well, it's 21 degrees here this morning and I believe that violates all the promises that North Carolina made to me as they tried to convince me that I wanted to live in the warmer climate. I'm thinking of calling for a revolution!:cold:
The old heat pump is working overtime today. But, it is sunny and the grass is still green where it isn't covered with frost.

I think you are mature enough to hear this, but, it has been winter just a month now... lot's more fun and excitement to go. Might as well save the lobbying for March. I do understand though, so far I have only been able to go out with shorts and t-shirt this month about once a week, on average.

My local weather is 4 degrees with winds at 16 mph. :p

The house next door has a set of wind chimes, and I heard them last night (I woke up a few times), and now this morning as well. Wish I could sleep in on a holiday morning, but I'm always awake at this stupid time!
The cold wave arrived yesterday afternoon to Miami as well.
Temps droped from 27C to 20C and lower (I think it reached 10C outside at night.. no flipflops material for us lol ), with winds.
On the good side, no rain or clouds.

Well, I'm tense, and stressed, and I've learned my lesson. Call the darned dining line! There should be a warning on the Disney website: Do NOT try this at home!

On the bright side, I spoke to a wonderful cast member, whose name I did not catch because I could barely hear her, but she was able to get all the ADRs I wanted up through our 10th day, and she did it faster than I got ONE done online. Granted, it took me forever to get the one done online because it just wasn't wanting to go through. BUT once I called the line, it went very smoothly.

Having a pity party right now because our internet has been down since 930pm last night, and now they aren't estimating it up until 830pm tonight (first it was 3 hours, then it was 1040am, now 818pm... )

Using the hotspot on my phone, but I may have to switch my plan over to unlimited so I don't go over my gigs. (I have a plan thru Xfinity Mobile where you either pay $12 a gig, or $45 unlimited)... most months we just pay by the gig, because we are on wifi so much that it doesn't make the unlimited worth while.

I've read some of the thread and many people are in the same boat with the frigid cold. Hang in there everyone. It will get better for most of us tomorrow and in the days beyond that. As I enter this post at a time that is approaching 10AM it is 8 degrees in NJ with a predicted high of 18.
So sorry @MySmallWorldof4 to read of the cold causing damage to your garage door.
