Possibly not.
Things seem to have moved on (or back) from that piece of blue sky concept art.
I hope that remains the case. The more I saw and thought about the plan in that art work, the less and less I liked it.

I’m certainly not an insider but due to a few specific personal circumstances of which I’m unable to share, I do know the entrance hotel is currently shelved... most likely for good. Sorry I can’t say more. And I can’t really say this upsets me lol
First as much as you don't want to see, they are very limited at what they can do in WDW. Second, even if they somehow can get the rights back, it doesn't mean it will be in Epcot. They would probably try to replicate the Marvel Land they are building elsewhere and DHS is a far better fit for that.and if the ride brings in a ton of people marvel will flood the parks. Look at Toy Story or Pixar How many attraction will they have next year
What are the strongest Marvel IP’s available? And I mean from the 7,000 you mentioned?some people really want to see marvel attractions in Disney World real bad, so bad that they will try to ignore or find ways to get around the contract without being a lawyer. Some people hate the thought with a passion and will pull that contract out and wave it in others faces saying it will never happen. But I think it will happen. You see Marvel has about 7000 properties and they can always create more.
Scenario 1. Disney could create an event that shuts down the Marvel universe and everything is reborn under a new comic publisher with all the major characters slightly altered. Bang the Marvel universe is killed and a new universe and publisher are born. Any support for the old universe dies. Characters like the Avengers become the revenge squad or Avenging Angels led by General Stars and IronSteel. After a year or so of fans crying out, they bring it all back, but now have something they can use everywhere. And if you think the publicity wouldn't be huge you've never seen true believers go crazy and believe me they would have the media with them every step of the way .
Scenario 2. Disney uses characters not in the contract or locations in the marvel universe. This is what has happened with Big Hero Six and Guardians. I doubt that its an accident that Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, the Punisher, Daredevil and the Defenders were chosen for Netflix. The same for Shield at ABC, and Cloak and Dagger at Freeform. They are building a brand and demand for characters that have taken a backseat to the big cash cows. Don't be surprised to see phase four of the Marvel movies include a character or two that circumvent the contract so they can see use them in the park. Two Gun Kid, or the Rawhide kid might turn out to be a great fit for a frontier land expansion, or the Manthing as a character for the land.
Scenario 3. A deal is made with Comcast to use part or all of the Marvel universe in their parks.
You have to look at the money Marvel has made off of their movies. It's why they are buying Fox. That deal will allow them to make movies for the next twenty years before anything they previously made will be remade That equals about 30 billion in todays dollars in box office sales and another 30 billion in rentals and merchandising.
Like it or not Disney will get Marvel into Disney World.
One thing that shocks me is that I'm surprised they didn't turn the Universe of energy into a voyage into the savage land. We all know how they like to save money, or not spend it. (Maybe they are saving that for the Animal Kingdom.)
I doubt if Kazar and the Savage land are in the contract since he is a character that goes back to the golden age of comics, and as a layover it would have cost 25% of what they are spending now. He could be considered part of the X-Men family since that is where his Silver age debut occurred, but the hidden details keep us from knowing that.
They could have then put The Guardians into Wonders of Life with a little longer tunnel and the same building in back. Two brand new IP's and attractions ready to milk the public.
Why stop there though. The Seas could become Atlantis, The Land, Waconda, Mission Space into a journey to the Negative zone, Test Track become Racing the Ghost Rider, Spaceship Earth into Marvelous Journeys, and Imagination a Scientific Showcase demonstrating things that made the heroes special with Howard the Duck replacing Figment.
And every diehard EPCOT fan just died. However at least it would have a theme to it. And I doubt if they ever have to use Marvels name to sell any ride featuring something from the Marvel universe. A Ride featuring Suri as the White Panther taking you on a journey through Wakonda could probably pass the smell test if locations are not specified in the contract.

Did you read the appropriate thread? How anyone can see that picture of the backstage area between TestTrack and Mission: Space and believe a full table service restaurant is going back there is beyond me.What is it going to be, a rectangle?! LOL
Excuse me?Sure Jan. I'll believe it when I see it. Anything to fluff your ego I guess.

I don’t ask anyone to believe me. I hope you know that.Still doesn't look convincing to me. But you are the one with the connections, not me, so if you say so then so be it.

And who’s Jan?

I understand that WOL is a quasi-abandoned attraction/pavillion, but once the festival center started happening there - how could Disney let it get this bad? That's not even nitpicking, that golden dome would look nasty to any guest. I also noticed this grime when I went to Epcot a year ago.
Disney seems to accept this lack of maintenance now and especially if it is something they don't care about as much.
Would it be foolish to expect a ride there in the next decade?
Don’t be too sure.

Well with Disneys track record, its hard to be optimistic that anything gets built other than Dining/Retail
