It depends what ride system it gets. And what budget.
If it looks anything like these I’d queue up giddily:

Another problem with Mermaid (aside from it being a book report ride) is the ride path. You go AROUND all of the scenes and never THRU any. There is never a moment where you feel as if you are in the middle of the action. It’s almost like you re watching a streaming movie that slows down or pauses while on a slow moving ride vehicle.

FTFY to account for the plastic fish glued to the wall.

I love the old FL style dark rides and I think it would be great if they used them as inspiration for the Poppins ride. But I also think they should take it a step further so that it’s a modern version of the old FL style C tickets. Maybe in Poppins case with the ride system. Like Baxter’s idea with the horses that go flying off the carrousel.

So far aside from Roger Rabbits Cartoon Spin (which is 25 years old so it’s not precisely modern) I think Frozen Ever After is the best modern take on the old FL dark rides(eventhough it’s a boat ride). Although their does appear to be too much dead space in a few of the scenes.

Disclaimer: I have only seen a ride thru on YouTube of FEA.
