TBH if a 60 year old C ticket is aiming too high, I would rather see an elaborate Carrousel / strong B ticket. I’d rather have the best B ticket than the worst C ticket.
This!

Guys... don’t aim too high.
Guys... don’t aim too high.
Is Alice/Toad, etc. aiming too high? lol. I'm more than happy with that for Poppins. If it's less, why bother? My enthuasism is quickly dwindling for this every time you say don't aim too high lol. I don't think any of us are expecting an E-ticket here.
I mean, I’ll be happy if we actually get a dark ride at all, I’m fine if it’s lower tech than Toad.
So my brain kept reading ‘calamity’ as ‘cabaret’ for some odd reason, and I was trying to figure out how I missed the news that Kitchen Cabaret was coming back.
I need a nap.
But Mr ToadCheap and tacky.
Edit: aside from Peter Pan.
I hope not, just went on it finally last week. Pretty yes, but also pretty pointless. I felt really bad for the people in the 100 minute standby line. It wasn't even worth the short fast pass wait and I knew ahead of time to not expect anything but this went way below that even.. Glad we got to finally see it for ourselves but there is no desire to try to ride it again. Would hate to see a true Poppins attraction wasted this way.
So a Meet n Greet?
Mary Poppins deserves better! So a 60 year old C ticket Is aiming too high? Yikes.
Mr Toad is living off of nostalgia. But Mr Toad
Mr Toad is living off of nostalgia.
True but Mr Toad is stuck in 1955. Cardboard, cardboard, cardboard95% of Disney parks are living off nostalgia. Otherwise, how many times a year could slowly cruise by some Pirates robots wearing rubber masks and not be bored?
When you get a chance please check out the WDW version since each ride vehicle has two separate routes.Mr Toad is living off of nostalgia.
It depends what ride system it gets. And what budget.
And cardboard dancing penguins and farm animalsWith a cardboard cut-out of Poppins.

I actually like Mermaid. Anyway, Toad is cute but I wouldn't wait more than 10-15 mins for it. Pooh is actually better than Toad.Yeah but I find it more enjoyable than 3/4th of Disney park dark rides. It’s just well done. Plywood cutouts and all. The zippy little track through the attraction and tight turns bring it to life. I like it much better than some modern dark rides like Mermaid, Monsters inc and Pooh.
