World SciFi be scary for a three year old?
Well, it depends on the kid. (Helpful, I know.) It is a little dark in there, so if that is still a problem, A might not be ready for it, yet. Some kids might find some of the old B movie clips scary. My kids always thought it was pretty silly. I am thinking you might be able to find something on YouTube.

I keep looking at the weather report and freaking out. I have seen totals of rain through Tuesday from a doable 1.5 inches to just over 3. Frozen ground. All the snow isn't melted. I hate to say it, but I think I would feel better about this if it were snow instead. (Enjoy that @MinnieM123 and @Mr Ferret 88 . You know it is bad when I say something like that.)

Sympathy like.
Hope it doesn't turn out to be nearly that bad.

Friends are all posting about Black Panther on Facebook.

I comment to one of them “I haven’t allowed T to watch any Marvel movies yet, but he’s begging to see Black Panther.”

Friend replies “Really?! Why?”

I reply back, “He wanted to see Batman vs Superman but I remember the ratings being inappropriate for kids. Sexual content and language were too high.”

2 other people immediately respond “That’s DC, not Marvel! DC movies are much darker.”

Clearly I don’t know my comic characters. Oops!! All this time I haven’t even let him see The Avengers or anything similar.. I had no idea.

I had liquid under the tongue for polio. They are back to the old shots for kids again. They had issues with the liquid.

Honest question...is polio still even a thing...?!?!?!
I thought that stuff had been pretty much wiped out like small pox years ago. I, of course, still have my scar from that vaccination. Ultimately, I guess none of that stuff is really ever wiped out. It's just put down for a while and waiting in the wings. Not gonna' lose any sleep over it, though. Although, I really have no intention to leave anytime real soon, we're all gone eventually...!!!!! :hilarious:

They are very correct. Thats why some have complained.. Batman was gritty and it did fit the character, but they ruined superman because hes not gritty and "dark".

Thats why Marvel is winning, excellent balance between dark and fun.

Google got into a lawsuit against getty because google used to link directly to images, its not allowed anymore in their settlement.
You can still get addons for firefox or extensions for chrome that gets this ability back.

I guess I'm not getting what the problem is. I'm having no problems posting images. I'm just googling them, saving them to my phone, and then uploading them... :cyclops:

I'm not a marvel or DC fan but I do like the Guardians movies and my husband talked me into seeing Black Panther and I really liked it. Guardians might have some language you might not want the kids to hear though. I don't remember Black Panther having any poor language though.

I think in some places things like polio might still exist. I'm thankful for vaccinations, living through chicken pox was enough.

Thanks! Guardians is not on our list due to content.. but the friends recommended to watch the original Avengers and Iron Man before seeing Black Panther. Maybe we’ll tackle one this coming weekend.

Or they could do what my parents did when I was 8 and they sat me down to watch Back to the Future...

"Now there are some words in this movie that they say that we don't say, so don't go to school and repeat it."

This is the new "expansion" that is ruining Coronado.

Yep, that is one of the most half-a$$ed themed pieces of carp I've ever seen in my entire life regarding Disney. That BLT garbage messing up the CR was bad enough, but this just power-blows chunks. How is any of that even remotely close to Disney theming with the associated resort...WTH...?!?!?!?!?!
What the hell is wrong with this company...?!?!?!?!
But, also, Unis. Is just some unimpressive, rounded, glass curtain wall stuff, too. What theme is that. Glass-time...?!?!?!

If Guardians is off your list, I think Iron Man should be as well. It's very intense at the begining. Then Tony Stark is...not exactly a good role model to begin with. He's a genius playboy billionaire, by his own admission. Mphasis on the playboy.

If you want to pick a Marvel movie but are worried about content, start with Spider-Man: Homecoming. Great movie, you don't need a lot of background to get the premise, and there's not really a lot of objectionable content (some language, but it's infrequent and comes and goes). Not super intense violence wise either. The fact that Peter's still in high school probably helps.
