Eh. Someone's over paid opinions. I bet @donaldtoo does not agree with #2. I for sure don't agree with Key West or Disney. No one is going to Philly to just see the Rocky Statue. There are other things to do there. What do you think @ajrwdwgirl about Mall of America being on their list?
I also disagree with Mt. Rushmore. I've been there many times and still love it. Plus, there's more to do in the area than just the faces on a mountain...Deadwood is nearby for those who want to visit an old fashioned mining town to gamble, Custer State Park is there if you are into nature and want to see wild animals, the Needles drive has spectacular views, though it is a bit scary if you are the one driving...and there are museums and such....reptile gardens is kind of a zoo for birds and reptiles....turtles, snakes, lizards....now, if they had put Crazy Horse on the list, I'd agree. They have been carving it for something like 60 years and it's still not anwhere close to being finished and there's not much to see, though they have finally made progress in the last few years. When we would drive past when I was a kid, all you could see was a model of the design and a hole where Crazy Horse's Arm is. Now they have the face carved in, too.

I never get Mani/pedis but I put it in my monthly bucket list month. I could have done it this weekend but it's going to be so so cold. No thank you.
I know I'm in the minority, but I'm not a fan. I had my nails done for my wedding and I had 3 nails that had broken, so they put tips on, and I hated the feel of the fake nails, and then when the wedding was over I couldn't get them off. She said they should come off with nail polish remover, but I soaked those puppies for over an hour in remover and still had to rip them off, and did a lot of damage to the nails.
For my brother's wedding, I decided to do a Pedi, because it was outdoors and I'd be wearing sandals and wanted my feet to look nice and I'm really not good at painting my own toes. The painting part wasn't bad, but the leg/foot massage was horrible. I just wanted the guy to stop....it hurt so badly. I swore I thought I was going to wake up the next day with bruises all up and down my legs because he was digging his fingers into my legs so hard. Not at ALL enjoyable or relaxing. But, maybe I just got a guy who was really bad at the massages. I had been so looking forward to it because my best friend gets mani/pedis all the time and raved about how relaxing it was, etc. I was so disappointed. I've never heard of anyone else who has ever said it hurt, so it might just be me. But I hated every minute of it, so just know that it might not live up to your expectations.

The US IS too big to predict anything like if Spring will be early or not. You are so right on the money @Songbird76
The entire thing is silly/stupid ;)

....but we are a culture that enjoys that stuff....so, whatever :)
Yep...to each his own. I don't get it, but then, there are probably a lot of people who don't get how I can spend hours reading, or why I like Gilmore Girls and Friends, or Harry Potter. Variety is the spice of life!

Hour and a half, but they made up the time, so only about an hour and ten by the time we landed.
Not ideal, but could have been worse. I know on my last flight from the US back to Amsterdam, we had an hour delay, and of course I was alone so my family was at the airport waiting for an hour longer as it was middle of the night here and I had no way to let them know we were delayed as I couldn't connect to internet once we were on board. Then we landed, they told us which baggage carousel we needed and I stood there waiting for 30 minutes while everyone's luggage came off....except mine. They had changed the baggage carousel after announcing which one we needed, so I was waiting at the wrong one. At least it was on my way home and not on my way there....that's got to be worse. You just want to get there and then you are delayed. At least you're there now and safe and can have a great time!

How is she recovering? Is it awful? How long does she have to stay in the rehab center? One of my cousins had that and was there for weeks, but then, she lived alone and had no one to care for her if she went home, so that may have been a factor.
Hi thanks for asking. That’s sweet.
She is doing well. She stood up and put weight on her leg yesterday. A little pain but not bad. Today she walked a bit with the walker. She is getting discharged at 3 and transferred to the rehab facility. We don’t know how long she’ll be there right now. I guess it depends on how she progresses. She will get lots of physical therapy and get used to the walker while there. She will still use a cane or walker when she gets out. I think it can take up to 6 months to recover. But it will be better than her house. My DH and BIL need to build a ramp and put in shower handles to help getting in the tub before she returns. Her husband can drive across the road to see her any time he wants.

I couldn't read the link--well, I could open it, but then it asked for a login or something, and I'm not a member of that--so couldn't see what the article was about.
Aah yes, Pinterest.. the cancer of the photography and image world.

Pinterest is pretty much the best thief tool you can imagine. It consolidates all images on its database without your permission and then asks you forcibly to login to access them.
Also the way it builds its pages are designed to fool google images in to thinking the pages in question are popular.

That is why when you google images, you might get your entire full page ful of pinterest images.
At least you used to get a few couple of pages of google images full of them. Now google seems to be filtering pinterest.

Do they sell this on your tiny island home? It does work. It has in the past helped me get over colds quicker.

This as honey, plant extracts and other stuff.
I always get cured of colds in less than 2 days with this.
Cures sore throat super fast too.

I dont see any lie on Disney lol.
Still, a good planner can easily overcome that.
