Mixed feelings about Disney buying Fox. The few shares I have with Disney went up yesterday. Won't help my pocket book though. Basically 2 shares a person in my house. :p Should have bought 500 16 years ago. Could get it for under $15 a share. Hindsight is 20/20. :banghead::banghead: Ever thought of going to a state school for a masters? It would be way more affordable. I made the mistake of going to a private school for my education. Steering my kids to state or they better get a scholarship.

No actually. It helped my private school for my bachelor's that my aunt was a nun and I went to a catholic college.

View attachment 250504 We saw the Last Jedi last night, it was very good. Hubs was so excited he said he cried a bit. A friend just picked him up to head to a 8:30am showing of it at an IMAX theater near St. Paul while I get to go to work.:)

Is it a rehash of the previous trilogy like the Force Awakens? I thought Rogue One was the better movie. Force Awakens was a great movie but it reminded me of the others in a way.

We will see about next year, all we have heard back from them besides the initial texts from one of there husbands and the flights is silence. No word from the sisters. One of there kids got into a car accident on Wednesday (we saw a post on Facebook about it) and hubby texted the girl and his sister right away. I expressed relief that the girl was ok on Facebook as well as hubs, still nothing back from the sister (brads niece texted him back thanking him for his concern on her accident). Oh well that's their problem I guess.
Wow, these people seem like real pieces of work.

I'm thought the same about force awakens. I was not a fan of Han getting killed but I guess it worked for the story. Anyway as for your other question I'll put it in a spoiler so if someone is trying to avoid things about it I'm not the spoiler. Although I don't think my response will give away any plot details so it should be safe for all.

I didn't see it as a rehash, just a continuation of the story. There might be a hint at something that reminds you of another but it has its own surprises. It will be interesting to see how they wrap up this Skywalker storyline and move into the next branch that they are planning.

You sound like you're talking about me, but I don't remember doing it and all my toes seem to be in tact. So I'm going to go out on a limb and say it WASN'T me, even though it SOUNDS like me.
What sucks is they can't do anything about broken toes...have you got some nice warm, thick socks to put on and some slippers? Or can you actually get a shoe on? I'm betting you aren't walking well. Hope they heal fast!!
I broke my little toe when I was in Vietnam. I was running toward a bunker and hit something really hard. I never did anything about it except use some fairly colorful language. It doesn't bother me at all today but it does have a pretty distinctive turn to the left.

All these poor toes. :(And all they ever were required to do was help keep us balanced. Save the toes!!;)

That's one thing I really wish would change in the military. We're so focused on taking care of the job and completing the mission that we fail at taking care of our bodies a lot of the time. I have tendonitis in both ankles because I had stress fractures in both ankles and refused to take time away from my work to go to sick call.
