So a big challenge is coming up again at the Walt Disney World next week on December 6. 47 rides between the four parks in one operational day at the parks. Some do it in a group others on their own trying to strategically map out where to start and where to end and how many times to hop between the parks multiple times. I've followed a few of the attempts. This time there is 15 people/groups so it should be fun. From dawn to late night you get to see every park, every group on every ride. This year it is 47 'cause some new opened and some closed. The event can only take place while all attractions are up and running so the event is never challenged while refurbs are going on. Hall of Presidents doesn't count as it is not a ride beyond it just falling off the grid. Splash came back up for a month and a half before it goes down again so many teams are anxious. Two tried last week and failed coming in around the lower 40 rides ridden.
So close. Dwarf going down constantly never helpful.

It can be followed on Facebook or Twitter. I find twitter easier to follow this event as the contestants are required to submit a photo via twitter on each ride.

These days I watch all my movies online. The only DVD that I still have is a Muppet Christmas Carol but I don't even own a DVD player any more.
@ajrwdwgirl Thanks for sharing your class science story, it made me smile. I clicked on the link but the webcam feed has moved to a different page. The link to the new page was on the old page so I still got to see it. Yellowstone is on my long list of places I want to visit.
@StarWarsGirl You are in my spot:p
@donaldtoo It is much easier to tear something or someone down than to build up. Clearly you and your family build up and do good in this world so please just ignore the sad people that tear down.

@Gabe1 I don't have any Christmas decorations this year as I will go back to the Netherlands to celebrate the holidays with my family.
I do have 2 advent calendars, both gifts. DSC_0354.JPG
This one is from a Swiss chocolate shop called Sprungli. I get a fancy chocolate every day.

With this one I get a Kinder egg. Several of the eggs have little Christmas ornaments in them that I can clip to or hang in a tree.

And yes I started my calendars already because I leave on the 20th so want to finish my calendars on that day.:angelic:

Thank you so much for thinking of me!! She won't wear those kind right now (although we have almost all of the ones the Disney Store offers). Hopefully she'll come back to them but right now she'll only wear the princess nightgowns that look like princess dresses, like this:

Speaking of Dresses.
Anyone seen the new trend? a lot of vendors are now offering these "transforming" dresses. Where they appear common Disney or game character garbs, and transform into princess suites after unbuttoning some areas.

Amazing what ingenuity can do!

My favorite are Samoas. We don't know anyone in Girl Scouts so I buy when I see them set up outside the local Walmart. With four of us in 4-H for many, many years my dad couldn't whip out his checkbook and buy the lot of what we were selling. Setting up a table at a store or festival taught us social interaction with the public, teamwork and a bit about commerce. It also gave us some good memories we still laugh about now.
I never had a girl scout cookie experience in my whole life.

Are they really tasty?

There's a father who made those for his daughter - he's gone viral through the Disney FB groups a few times...the dresses he made were GORGEOUS!

They're good! But they aren't life changing. They have a great marketing shtick where you can only get them one time a year, so of course we all go nutso over them that one time a year. Last year I bought five boxes of them and put four boxes in my freezer. They freeze really well!!

That film should never be put away ... Heresey i tells you.
My kids have actually never saw it. :jawdrop: I saw it once with the person I dated prior to dh. Maybe that is why? Anyway, thanks for the heads up @MOXOMUMD. We will watch it today since there are no after school activities today.:)
I'm not looking, I'm not looking:angelic::angelic::angelic::angelic::angelic:
You are a better woman than me. I looked, and er, well:oops:...stocking stuffers.:)
I'll pass on the compliment! :inlove:

They come from Hobby Lobby and they still had them last week. They are not with the Christmas stuff but lump'd together by the craft supplies. Just need to paint and seal. She had fun making them last year.
Thanks! I will be sure to check them out now.:)
My mother bought me a "Bamboo" based soft foam pillow. Those help too a lot too.

The name of the product is "Bamboo hotel comfort"
I bought 2 bamboo pillows for dh and me a couple of years ago. They were very quickly commandeered by 2 kids. :rolleyes:I ended up actually buying 2 My Pillows and am very happy with them.:)

This was the first year in a while that I didn't buy any. I thought they were just too expensive for cookies.
