Sometimes I wish ours weren't so willing to travel to our place:oops: We're getting out of Christmas day because a relative is having a minor procedure right before the holiday:joyfull::oops::angelic::angelic::angelic::angelic: I did say it was minor:angelic:
This is the first Christmas Eve in many, many years our family has decided to all get together.....and it's at my place. Tree up, presents wrapped, cards made out, menu planned....I think I'm ready for this. :cyclops::joyfull:

Overall how is the vision now out of the 'fixed' eye?

I am seeing really well. Of course, right now because I am using my old glasses it is hard to get a true assessment without the proper prescription lenses. They won't give me that until the 2nd cataract surgery is complete. I think that is why the doctor yesterday insisted on seeing me the day after my cardiologist appointment. He wants me to see as well as possible out of both eyes. Not just one. What I am most happiest about is that the heaviness is gone around my eye that I was feeling. Not sure if that was a result of my Trigeminal Neuralgia, my droopy eyelid, or something else. All I know is that it is gone, and the eye feels better than before. I can't describe the feeling other than it was always there, and it felt like someone had a hold of my eyelid, and was holding onto it. Not painful. Just annoying. The retina surgeon speculated it could be related to my Trigeminal Neuralgia problem, which thankfully is in remission at the moment, but could reappear again out of the blue.

Oh that looks nice! Love those little trees! I am decorating inside and out on Saturday. My birthday is tomorrow-the 1st and I never start until after my birthday. It's just a tradition I have. lol We actually put out more outside lights and decorations than inside the house.

My BIL put up an inflatable Mickey/Minnie riding in a sleigh but Minnie has a tiny hole that needs patched so she lists to the left a little. Our joke until he fixes it is Mickey is the designated driver.:hilarious:

Great!! He's got a group of friends, and he's super excited that he had kids to invite to his birthday party Saturday. This is the first time EVER that we didn't have to scramble to find kids he could invite and who would actually come! He had a rough day Monday...screamed at his teachers, but they were able to talk it out later. He loves it and the change in him is amazing. He actually WANTS to go to school, and he's just a happier kid all the way around. I'm so glad we made the decision we did.
I'm so happy for all of you. :inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove:

So happy for the excellent results. I really hope you can have the other eye done soon. Fingers Crossed.

Those are adorable little Christmas trees.:) The ones on top of the entertainment center. Bet I can get DD16 to make those for me. Have to keep 'em busy.:D;):hilarious:
:)

I'll pass on the compliment! :inlove:

They come from Hobby Lobby and they still had them last week. They are not with the Christmas stuff but lump'd together by the craft supplies. Just need to paint and seal. She had fun making them last year.
