We have it here every year. The other option is to have it at my grandma's, and no one thinks that's a good idea. :hilarious:
That's sort of the same story with us I have 2 moms and neither can cook and the one thing my mother in law can't seem to cook is turkey. She's an excellent cook but turkey not so much:confused: It's not so much the Thanksgiving dinner as the added BBQ sides.

I just hope others really pitch in and help you. I hope the company can bring some side dishes, desserts, etc., and that they help you clean up.
I clean nothing once they get here not one dish gets washed by me. They do all the clean up. year before last my dh and I left to do some Black Friday madness and we came home to a clean house top to bottom:inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove::inlove: My moms are NOT allowed to bring food to my house and some people just don't get the words gluten and dairy free believe it or not it is easier for me to do most if not all the cooking

I love Lady and the Tramp. It was my sons very first VHS tapes as a toddler and so not one that he ever bonded with nor my DD. Disney kinda took a turn with some of their animation offerings. My DS still has the greatest bond with The Lion King, to me it was the soundtrack that attached me to the storyline not the other way around. My DS kept stealing my Lion King CDs. I'd replace and a few months later *poof* gone, he was always careless with CDs & DVDs-downloads his salvation. My DD has never had tolerance for movies. Even now with her love of Pixar it might take her 3 days over the course of a week to watch a film. When the new Pooh or Inside Out in the theater both made us want to yank our hair out wanting that hour of our life back.

I can understand where there isn't the bonding for most of the films that brb1006 loves anymore. Me my all time favorite movie from my youth was The Parent Trap, the original.
I love the original parent trap!!! We watched it just before our vacation. I also loved the original movies with Flubber...not the newer versions, but the old black and white ones. I grew up watching those.

Oh, how I wish, but my mom took my car to get an oil change, the stupid break light fixed, and a tire rotation, and because of something else that happened with the car's AC that the repair shop handled poorly, she ended up getting the whole thing for free, so I owed her. And I did the dishes.
You owed her because the repair shop screwed up? How do you figure that one?

The BJ's near my house (not the restaurant....the supermarket) had Christmas trees up when I went a couple weeks ago. I haven't had a tree in two years because they don't have the size I want. I want between a 5.5 and 6.5. Nobody sells it other than online and I don't really trust online because I would like to feel the branches before I buy it.

The same way I found out about the other food allergies: the hard way. I tried the papaya green tea at Panera. I drank the whole thing and then thought, "Um, why is my tongue itchy and why am I having asthma symptoms?" I'm fairly certain it was the palaya as the other thing in it was passion fruit, and I know for a fact that's fine. Took some benadryl and claritin. Feeling tired and a little loopy, but better.

Now the list is pineapple, strawberry, nectarines, tangerines, guava, peanuts, tree nuts, pine nuts. And a shrimp sensitivity and a milk sensitivity (I only do cheese regularly, and milk products like ice cream on a limited basis).
That stinks! No POG juice for you.:(
So the weather-people are predicting something white on Friday morning here.:( It won't stick around yet but I still don't want to see it yet.
It is way to early for white stuff. A couple of years ago, we had close to a foot of snow before Halloween. It made for a very messy Trick or Treat.:banghead:

I think she meant cause her mom was nice enough to take the car in for her to the shop.

Did you ever check Hobby Lobby? They have loads of trees!
