I'm sure it is just a timing issue. They will close, at least for Sunday, I am sure. They have in the past.

Carp winds just ticked up to 155, fearing lowering was just eye replacement cycle. Friend's grandparents decided to stay put, house is solid, they have latest storm shutters and are not in mandatory evacuation area, but I still fear for their safety. Prayers for all

I think right now it's headed for Bermuda. I don't see a threat to the US at this point but I'm just a travel agent not a meteorologist.
