Agreed. When I hear runway railway I think of a train on tracks or something, and this is in the chinese theater. Imagineering has flown the coop I guess, I dont know. Its very sad what they have become.

I get what he's saying, when I hear the words "Runaway Railway" I think of a stereotypical runaway mine train type setting, which is going to mesh really weirdly with the grandiose Chinese Theater facade.

The whole idea isn't that you're on a train, it's that you've been sucked into a short after watching it at the Chinese Theater. At least that has been my understanding of it the whole time. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's the idea.

I imagine us having social media nowadays makes this feel worse. We can get up to the minute details of closing night for both these rides.

IIRC, it was never clearly announced that Horizons was closing permanently, the building just closed and sat vacant for a year before eventually being demolished for Mission: Space.

Sorry for my overload of comments, I loved the cast members on this attraction, and I got to remember the name of my tour guide on my final GMR that I went on May 31st, 2017(I was wearing Oswald the Lucky Rabbit ears, a DuckTales tee, wearing a lanyard with 8-10 pins, and holding a MU Subway bag), her name was Katilyn, she was awesome as heck(I told her that she was awesome, but she didn't listen, and I bet she loved my comment), and I got the Public Enemy show scene.

It's now at the #1 spot of my favorite WDW attractions that don't exist anymore! I'm going to be sad that one of my pieces of childhood memories go to Disney heaven. I LOVED THAT RIDE
