Probably has to do with overselling.
I've been thrown from the planes a few times in the USA even if I had bought tickets almost a year ago.
No idea how their damn priority works when selecting who stays and who doesn't.
I'm almost absolutely sure they aren't going to bump a minor from a flight without the parents. And you've been bumped as a single passenger not a family?

A really bad time for such a screw up. I hope they can fix it, soon.
That's all we've heard is about how much money is being lost to property owners in that mostly tourist area with every minute that passes without a fix. I have been busy and haven't heard if it has been repaired yet or not. That last report was 6 to 10 days. They are suing that construction company that caused the problem, however, it's doubtful that they will be responsible for anything other then repair. That amount I would think would be quite large.

Welcome to ChitChat. :)
Thank You, I am really enjoying the forums so far especially the topics about the goings on at WDW. I just returned from WDW from a trip with my 2 year old son and my boyfriend earlier in July. I hadn't been since I was 4 and it was my sons 1st time and also my boyfriends as well. it was wonderful.Wish I could spend more sustained time on here, but with a 2 year old that is quite difficult so it is off and on. Maybe this evening once he is asleep I will have some more time.

I bought an orange pepper last week at the grocery store. It was all black and gross inside when I cut into it--threw it out immediately. Luckily, I had also bought a red and yellow one, so there was still a lot of peppers to bake as a side dish for hubs and me. (Actually, 3 peppers would have been too much anyway.)
3 quarts or pounds?

I''ve commandeered DH's computer for a bit to keep up here. I'm still not sure whether it's my adaptor or the computer...I just know it isn't charging. I took it to MediaMarkt today...it's kind of like Best Buy I guess? Anyway, if I need to get a new computer I really don't want to go through them. They have really been terrible. DH bought his computer through them and they took AGES and gave him misinformation that cost us a lot of money. DD bought her tablet through them and it went wonky so we brought it in and they couldn't fix it, so gave her a new one, but didn't give her the SD card back and then couldnt find it, and that was after they copied the serial number down wrong so it took them twice as long trying to repair the tablet as it was supposed to. So she finally hears they can't fix it after 6 weeks and then the new one doesn't work either....she just got it back a couple of days ago...I hope it's right now. But I took my computer and adaptor in today...they tell me to go back to this counter where some guy has all sorts of adaptors so he can see if it's the adaptor or not. I go back there, he takes forever finding one that will fit my computer, plugs it in and turns it on. "Yep, it's the adaptor." I ask him how he can tell. "Well, because the computer turned on." Um...yeah...because it has this thing called a BATTERY. Honestly...you work with computers??? So he goes and gets this universal one and tells me that one of the bits will fit my computer. I pay for it, I go home...it fits, but is a bit loose. I try every single bit and only the one fits, but it doesn't charge my battery. So I have to go all the way back to return it and ask if I can check a different one IN the store, before I get it home and it doesn't work again. The gal says sure...there's a guy back there with a beard...he'll help you. (she called him) I go back there....there are FIVE guys and every one of them has facial hair...I have no idea which one she's talked to that will help, so I ask the first guy available. After confirming that none of them work on my computer, he tells me he can't help me. I need to get one directly from the manufacturer. So...when you told me this morning that this would for sure work on my computer, when I asked if this was a good and trusted brand, etc...you were lying to me? And they can't take my computer in for work to see if it's the hook up where the adaptor plugs into the computer, because I don't have my receipt from like...5 years ago. They can not repair something without a receipt, even though it wasn't bought there and doesn't have a warranty on it anymore. Nobody seems to know anything about the appliances/devices they are selling there, everything has to be sent off site. I ordered a new adaptor off the internet, it's supposed to be here tomorrow. If THAT doesn't work, I will probably need a new computer because the place where I bought this computer is no longer in business and I can not find the original receipt, so I can't send mine in for repairs. Wish me luck and send me some pixie dust, please!
That sounds like a nightmare that hopefully should end very soon. Good luck

If my mom threw in the vegetables into casserole I would pick them out too, but I knew she would make me eat them. So I would pick them out and eat them first and then savor the casserole veggie free.

Great minds think alike. Although, I'd eat the veggies last and hate every minute of it. (Sometimes . . . toward the end of a meal, my mother might get up to go over to the stove or counter, and sometimes a veggie or two, or three . . . might have mysteriously vanished from my plate and ended up squashed somehow, under my plate--out of sight-- o_O :angelic:

o_O Three (as in 3, or trois, in French, or hree-tay in Pig Latin) -- like this red one below. (Except one in yellow, orange, and red.)

Eh, moot point, like I said, we chucked the orange pepper but still had two (as in 2, or deux in French, or wo-tay in Pig Latin) others that were fine. :D
