EPCOT Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

I'm shocked there hasn't been any leaks or rumors of any substance detailing what this overhaul/change of park mission will be. They'll need to explain themselves BIG time after throwing a Guardians attraction in the mix.

There's definitely a trend toward thrill rides. Sad but true. I'm happy to see them investing in the parks, but I still long for the days of people-eating omnimovers.

It would be nice to get some love for that type of attraction as well. It's nice to walk on to a ride and enjoy an experience for more than 2 minutes now and then.

Haha no I know, and I appreciate all the things you have broke! I'm just surprised, mainly at Disney, that their "mission" for Epcot isn't even distinguishable for people to relate or explain. How upsetting!

^This!!!!! There's a reason I love Splash, Pirates, HM, and all the great long-form rides of old Epcot. I like a well-themed, immersive, and somewhat long payoff after all that queue time. It's the reason I've never rode standby for 7DMT. No way I'm waiting 90 minutes for a 60 second coaster.

Edited to add: I will gladly stand in line for 1 hour to experience the 12 minutes (or whatever it is) of Splash Mountain. That's how you build a ride. 25 years later, and it's just as good as ever.

Thoughts on it? I'm pretty happy with it. Sad about Communicore going away. I like the new island(?) thing at the bottom with the fountains. Actually, RIP fountain of nations. I guess that new island is the "new" fountain of nations? So many questions. I need a full resolution, non camera picture of the art.

It looks like one side, parts of the building closest to SSE will be staying. I feel like being a park of the "future", there shouldn't be as much green. I can't complain though.
